(NOAH) Show recap - 19th June 2018, Aizuwakamatsu City Cultural Center, Fukushima

Pro-Wrestling Noah drew a full house today in Aizuwakamatsu, Fukushima today. Card featured a few surprises, one fluke win, and one match which has changed the card in Osaka on the 21st June.
Reviews from fans who attended were positive, with many saying how much they enjoyed today, "Noah is the best" and wonderfully some people saying that this is their first time they have been to see Noah, and they want to see more.

TRIVIA
  • Spartan-X (Mitsuharu Misawa's theme music) was playing in the venue today.
  • Prior to the event starting, there was a small challenge in the ring in which Kaito Kiyomiya lifted 30 kilos of rice.
  • The venue nearby to Noah's today was where Hi69 started out with Michinoku Pro, 17 years ago (there are a lot of people in Noah, not just Marufuji, who are approaching their own twenty years in wrestling)
  • RAN sang the halftime show.

MATCH 1
Cody Hall vs Junta Miyawaki

Junta Miyawaki went back to the opening match after going up to the third match on the 18th. However, today was not meant for him to get his first win.

WINNER: Cody Hall with the choke slam (4 mins, 50 seconds)

MATCH 2
Atsushi Kotoge, Hajime Ohara & Hitoshi Kumano vs Maybach Taniguchi, Tadasuke & Masao Inoue

Atsushi Kotoge and Hajime Ohara entered the hall both wearing cloaks (Ohara's was black). They both entered by running in and running around looking like a pair of giant bats. Hajime Ohara has not joined "The Revolutionary Army" (he's a junior heavyweight) and Hitoshi Kumano, (Hajime Ohara's tag partner), refused to wear one to the ring or when Atsushi Kotoge offered him one.
Ohara seemed to be having a lot of fun though.

WINNER: Atsushi Kotoge with the Revolution Cloak Splash (which has been confirmed to be the official name of the move) on Masao Inoue (12 mins, 50 seconds)

MATCH 3
Daisuke Harada, YO-HEY & HAYATA vs Hi69, Minoru Tanaka & Yoshinari Ogawa

This match went to a time limit draw after thirty minutes, but referee Shu Nishinaga allowed five minutes more in which HAYATA got the win after a minute. Hi69 and Minoru Tanaka watched from outside the ring, Yoshinari Ogawa walked off and watched RATELS (who he hates) celebrating from the top of the stairs in the fan seating.

WINNER: HAYATA with the roll up on Yoshinari Ogawa (1 minute into extra time)

MATCH 4
The Aggression (Katsuhiko Nakajima & Masa Kitamiya) vs Akitoshi Saito & Mohammed Yone

After the match, Masa Kitamiya asked President Uchida for a singles match with Akitoshi Saito (Kitamiya and Saito haven't been getting on recently) and as a result the Osaka card (21st) has been changed.

WINNER: Katsuhiko Nakajima with the Vertical Spike on Mohammed Yone (11 minutes, 27 seconds)

MATCH 5
Takashi Sugiura, Naomichi Marufuji & Quiet Storm vs Kenoh, Go Shiozaki and Kaito Kiyomiya

Kenoh and Takashi Sugiura laid into each other, and Kenoh held off both Sugiura and Marufuji by kicking them in turn. Go Shiozaki took out Quiet Storm.
After the match, Naomichi Marufuji and Atsushi Kotoge (who was seconding Kenoh and co) got into an argument.

WINNER: Go Shiozaki with the lariat on Quiet Storm (17 minutes 45 seconds)

ATTENDANCE: 302 people (full house)

The Kansai region continues to experience aftershocks from the earthquake on Monday. Noah will be in Osaka, which was effected by the earthquake, on the 21st, where Masato Tanaka will make his only appearance of this tour. I would expect to see more of him in the next few weeks.
