(NOAH) EVENT RECAP ~ NOAH the SPIRIT 2019 - YAMADA Green Dome Maebashi / Sub Event Area, Gunma, Sunday May 19th 2019 (FINAL NIGHT)

Noah held the final show of "NOAH the SPIRIT 2019" before Global Junior Tag League begins on the 28th of this month, today in Gunma (a venue with a very low ceiling). It was noted by fans that LIDET has put their banner back up on the wall today.

Noah will hold a "Yakuniku fan party" after the event with Kaito Kiyomiya, Daisuke Harada, HAYATA and Tadasuke (it is thought that given today's events, that another person may join in).

YO-HEY & HAYATA were on autograph duty today.
YO-HEY (wearing a white "Stinger" t-shirt) signed his name and wrote "lung" on merchandise, he looked well enough.

I am afraid (some) news coming out of today's show is fragmented, so in some cases I have only been able to present just a line.

MATCH ONE
Hitoshi Kumano vs Seiya Morohashi

Said to be a good opening match, with a nice build to Global Junior Tag League.

WINNER: Double KO count out (15 minutes, 0 seconds)

MATCH TWO
Mitsuya Nagai vs Masao Inoue

Nagai told Referee Fukuda to check Inoue's stomach!

During the match, and much to Nagai's consternation, Inoue stole his chain, but I think the referee took it off him though.

WINNER: Mitsuya Nagai with the Stretch Plum (9 minutes, 27 seconds)

MATCH THREE
50 Funky Powers (Mohammed Yone & Quiet Storm) vs Hi69 & Kouki Iwasaki

No disco ball today

WINNER: .... with the Funky Buster Bomb on Kouki Iwasaki (9 minutes, 13 seconds)

MATCH FOUR
Stinger (Yoshinari Ogawa & Kotaro Suzuki) & Junta Miyawaki vs RATELS (Daisuke Harada, Tadasuke & HAYATA)

YO-HEY came out to second STINGER.

WINNER: Tadasuke with the lariat on Junta Miyawaki (12 minutes, 2 seconds)

After the match, YO-HEY basically got on the microphone and told STINGER that he would be aiming for the third win with HAYATA. STINGER (who knew this anyway) attacked him as the lines for Global Junior Tag League have now been drawn up. HAYATA came to the rescue by throwing himself over YO-HEY to protect him, and then Daisuke Harada & Tadasuke joined in when they saw he was being overwhelmed.
RATELS then did their four way tandem kick.
After Ogawa & Kotaro had been thrown from the ring, YO-HEY took his Stinger t-shirt off and rejoined RATELS as the four of them did their handshake.

I think that at some point either before or after the handshake, or else after the Stinger beat down, Daisuke Harada may have got on the microphone and asked the crowd whether YO-HEY was RATELS or Stinger?
The crowd unanimously voted RATELS.
Harada said, "Welcome home".
What I do know is that after Tadasuke carried a grinning YO-HEY off on his back (due to his lung), Harada said that although the four of them were going to start again today from scratch, and dominate the junior division, he wasn't going to spare YO-HEY in Global Junior Tag League.

YO-HEY later wrote on Twitter that although he had betrayed RATELS, they were kind enough to forgive him, and ended with "I'm home".

MATCH FIVE
AXIZ (Katsuhiko Nakajima & Go Shiozaki) vs The Sugiura Army (Takashi Sugiura and Hajime Ohara)

"Insanely good match"

Katsuhiko Nakajima's feet scraped the ceiling when Takashi Sugiura did his top rope suplex (and he looked like he had frogs legs). During the match, Nakajima did one of his famous cocky poses with a fallen\knocked down Takashi Sugiura. Unfortunately, what Nakajima does not seem to realize, that is all adds fuel to Sugiura destroying him in the title match.

WINNER: Go Shiozaki with the lariat on Hajime Ohara (22 minutes, 2 seconds)

After the match, AXIZ held up the belts to Sugiura.

MATCH SIX
Kaito Kiyomiya, Shuhei Taniguchi, Akitoshi Saito & Minoru Tanaka vs Kongoh (Kenoh, Masa Kitamiya, Atsushi Kotoge & Yoshiki Inamura)

Kenoh and Kaito Kiyomiya squared up before the match, with the ceiling causing further problems to the tall in this match who use the turnbuckles (the lanky 5'9 Kiyomiya had to use the first turnbuckle to dropkick, and even then he was crouched against the ceiling).
Atsushi Kotoge somehow managed to look insane while being put in a lock by Minoru Tanaka.
Yoshiki Inamura got a lot of praise today.

After the match, Kenoh got on the microphone and started shrieking, but unfortunately I don't know what he said, but I imagine its to do with Kiyomiya being "a company dog", etc.

WINNER: Masa Saito with the Saito Suplex on Shuhei Taniguchi (18 minutes and 25 seconds)

ATTENDANCE: 355 (full house)
