(NOAH) Event recap: Noah Junior Regulars Night One - 22nd April 2022

As part of the run up to the Noah Junior Ryogoku Kokugikan event, the Noah Junior Regulars will be doing a social media event each evening, tonight it was a Twitter Space talk which featured all six of them. Daisuke Harada (naturally) took charge and read out most of the questions, which fans where encouraged to ask on Twitter using the hashtag #本気のノアJr, which later trended. Fans asked a range of questions from what advice is given to Junta Miyawaki during the match, to having their own merchandise, to what do you do you on your days off? A six year old boy asked if Kotoge was ever going to wear his cloak again? Fans felt a sense of harmony in the unit, which may be a case of speaking too soon knowing how the Noah Juniors work. For older fans this made them nostalgic for the days of Showa radio interviews. 

Atsushi Kotoge was a little nervous before the event, but fans praised them all saying they were very sweet and quick to answer. There were some technical difficulties however as they all got used to the new technology, as none of them had ever used this function before. Daisuke Harada Harada said they "started by trial and error". He could be heard adjusting the sound. In total 2,255 people listened. 

Shun Skywalker was apparently listening too, as was H.Y.O. H.Y.O soon gave up saying it was crap, their talk was lame, and wasn't worth listening to. H.Y.O thought it was funny when he saw Shun had joined in. Z-Brats did not get involved otherwise. 

In terms of Noah, Go Shiozaki (everyone giggled when they saw it) and Kenoh tuned in, and fans want HAYATA to do a Space. 

Alejandro (who was better at speaking than fans thought) mentioned perhaps a mask with glitter, which fans liked the sound of. Haoh said he felt even more excited to be "Noah Junior's Haoh", and as unit they all agreed that getting the belts back would be cool. Fans had a lot to ask, and not all of it about current Noah, as the question of painful moves came up. 

Atsushi Kotoge said the top rope Katayama German suplex was probably the most painful thing he had taken (Daisuke Harada chuckled darkly) for Haoh it was the Fujita Powerbomb unsurprisingly. Junta Miyawaki mentioned Shiozaki's lariat, and for Alejandro it was Masa Kitamiya's senton. 

Jyushin Thunder Lyger has made some comments which have riled the Noah Junior division up (Tadasuke has also commented). What Lyger said doesn't really translate well, but basically he said something along the lines of the junior event is no good because of the difference with the "good quality competition found in the rivalry with New Japan". YO-HEY and Junta Miyawaki in particular where quite forceful in their responses. 

This was a good first experience for everyone, fans felt it was much easier to connect with the wrestlers than on usual SNS. Night two will be an Insta live with all six of the Noah Junior Regulars after NoahFes 2022 on Saturday 23rrd April.

Note: Go Shiozaki had done a short radio interview earlier in the day, where he talked about his pets. He now has nine cats (he had six in 2018) and two dogs. He doesn't feel too close to the dogs as they bark at only him when he comes home, and depart after he gives them a treat at night.
