In the GHC Heavyweight Championship prelimary match up at the main event, Eddie Edwards (33) expanded his win over the challenger Kenoh (32)

Together with Takashi Sugiura, he went into the tag match against Edwards who had formed a team with Moose, and right from the start of the match he bought it to him. Faced with Edwards he ground attacked, the low kick, a foot stamp to the back, a double knee to the back of the head and an ankle hold, but Edwards escaped to the rope.

The continous artillery of middle kicks met the champions inverse chops. After the barrage of shot and kick, both fell back to the mat with a double middle kick. Ally, Sugiura, was caught by Moose and lost the fall by a rolling lariat.

Although he was not involved in either the direct victory or defeat, he suffered in the battle against the gaijin wrestlers and hurt the back of his head. After the match he screamed "Damn It!" and looked frustrated.
