On the 3rd December 2017 before the event started at Korakuen Hall, President Uchida announced the circumstances surrounding holding "KABUKI THE FINAL" at Korakuen Hall on the 22nd December. A memorial match and a retirement ceremony will be held that day, and the show will be broadcast. In addition Kabuki's treasured pictures will be held at Korakuen Hall.
The comment details are as follows:

President Uchida: Kabuki says that that we are respectful of wrestlers, and Noah is a thing that flowed from All Japan's Giant Baba. He says that he wishes to make his last stage at Noah as this will be the final chance to leave the ring within the year.
Noah is being broadcast by Nippon Television who will broadcast the event on December 22nd. Nippon Television will show Kabuki's story, this is not a joint project with them because there are many different and secret images of Kabuki, but we will be working together.
Originally we did plan for the event to begin at 7pm, but we need to have the ceremony after the match, so it will start at 6.30pm. Since the opening I think that I would like to stream the images of Kabuki.

Q: Is this the last time to see Kabuki in the ring?

President Uchida: Yes, this will be the last time. After the match we will prepare a ceremony and a stage for NOAH and Nippon TV to send off a great senior.

Q: Is it a retirement match?

President Uchida: Since Kabuki has already retired, this is a memorial match. I would like to decide the match after listening to what Kabuki's intentions are. I would also like my athletes to be involved. I will announce the card soon.
