Q: You got the pin on Kenoh?

EE: I think I was able to prove that I am a champion. He could not defeat me, I beat him. That's why I have the belt.

Q: Do you see Kenoh as a threat?

EE: Certainly, I feel the momentum and I think that will rise as we go forward with each other. As I won today, he will do his best, and we will step it up towards each other the closer the title match comes.

Q: How was it tagging with Marufuji?

EE: If I was told to choose a partner, it would be Marufuji-san. There is a deep respect there. (There then follows something that doesn't translate well about Marufuji and the belt). Even so, I think it was a good team.

Q: Do you think you will be able to defeat Kenoh and take the belt into next year?

EE: Yeah, this year I was able to defend it in Canada, but next year I want to defend it globally and make this belt more of a "Global Honored Crown".

And as for Kenoh....
