On January 5th, the signing ceremony of the GHC Championship to be held at Korakuem Hall was held between the champion Kenoh (33) and the challenger Kaito Kiyomiya (21); this is the decisive battle of the new generation.
The first crowning of the GHC Heavyweight champion last December, was "a man who has never been involved with Mitsuharu Misawa and the first title holder not associated with him...I will have a match that you cannot imagine...I will not lose to this "green boy", I will aim for even more".
Kiyomiya returned from wrestling in Canada after training there for about half a year, and made the GHC Challenge.
"I have gained more strength and weight. I have a hungry spirit and I am confident that I will win. I am not the same person as I was half a year ago"; he has pledged to take the championshop and become the youngest ever.
Kenoh was Kiyomiya's opponent last June un Fukushima, winning in 12 minutes and 17 seconds. "I have been walking a steep hill, and I will crush you in a shorter time than I did then" he foretells. The challenger replied, "if you think that, then there was no point in going abroad."..."Kenoh has been talking about going to the top, I respect you, but I have grown and I am not planning to lose to Kenoh. I am burning with fighting spirit".
