(NOAH) Dream Messe West Hall, Sendai, 24th February 2018 - event recap

MATCH ONE
Hajime Ohara vs Junta Miyawaki
(If this was any other promotion, Junta Miyawaki would have been put in an eating competition by now)

Hajime Ohara applied the Muy Bien and Miyawaki tapped out in six minutes.

MATCH TWO
3 WAY MATCH

Yoshinari Ogawa vs Masao Inoue vs Kikuchi Tsuyoshi

Tsuyoshi Kikuchi will celebrate 30th years in wrestling on the 26th February, and after the match Go Shiozaki presented him with a bouquet of flowers. Go Shiozaki is the President of the Noah Wrestlers Association, so it is his job to represent the company and the wrestlers when it comes to things like this (which is why he is the one who does the New Year speech rather than Marufuji)

It was an insanely funny match apparently. There was a time years ago when Inoue and Kikuchi (who were teaming with Ogawa who was ignoring them) got into a row about bandages....

Kikuchi got on the microphone and said, "Ogawa, I've just been given flowers, I guess that means I am going to win!"

MATCH THREE
Kaito Kiyomiya vs Cody Hall

Kaito Kiyomiya seemingly sent a message to Hideki Suzuki by using the European Clutch. Hideki Suzuki stated in his post match interview on the 22nd that he wasn't interested in eras or Kenoh or the championship; he was interested in Kiyomiya, Sugiura and Marufuji.

Kiyomiya victorious with the Japanese Leg Roll Clutch after ten minutes sixteen seconds.

MATCH FOUR
Maybach Taniguchi vs Jay Bradley

Taniguchi won with the Maybach Bomb after seven minutes, eighteen seconds.

MATCH FIVE
Mohammed Yone & Quiet Storm vs Takashi Sugiura & Akitoshi Saito

Yone got the pin on Akitoshi Saito following the 50cm Arm Lariat from Quiet Storm after ten minutes four seconds.

During the intermission, Noah played this advert from one of their long-term (seventeen years) sponsors, "The Leave"

MATCH SIX
Go Shiozaki & XX vs Daisuke Harada, Tadasuke and YO-HEY

Incredible height from YO-HEY

Go Shiozaki won with the lariat on Tadasuke and thus ends Tadasuke's winning streak recently. RATELS seemed to get along in this match as far as I know.

MATCH SEVEN
Kenoh vs HAYATA

Kenoh won with the diving footstamp after eight minutes thirty-four seconds.

FROM LEFT: Naomichi Marufuji, Minoru Tanaka, Atsushi Kotoge (Minoru Tanaka is a freelancer, but he spends most of his time in Noah)

MATCH EIGHT
Naomichi Marufuji, Atsushi Kotoge, Minoru Tanaka vs Katsuhiko Nakajima, Masa Kitamiya and Hitoshi Kumano

Atsushi Kotoge won in seven minutes and thirty two seconds with the Killswitch on Hitoshi Kumano.

Noah announced 210 people attended today in Dream Messe West Hall, Sendai
