(NOAH) "Come At Me You Bastards" - KENOH'S column (August 2018)

Kenoh said that after two weeks on the same theme (Morishima), he was reluctant to change the topic. Apparently each day he gets sent "mysterious pictures and videos" sent in large quantity from the curtain, he thought about talking about it, but "the bastard readers" would get bored.
So today he is going to rant about the GHC Tag Challenge and Naomichi Marufuji.

Kenoh is asked why he made the challenge.
Kenoh says that it is because he regretted seeing the young man who thought to change the epitome of Noah lost in the "old man" (Akitoshi Saito).

"Why did you challenge without a partner?"
"I knew someone would come out. Part of me wanted to make sure that it was someone who felt the same, and Kaito Kiyomiya came out, and I was happy enough. He has the same feelings as before, he is trying to change Noah, and my decision was not mistaken. Had the "Revolutionary Fighter" Atsushi Kotoge come out, it would have been a comedy like Yoshimoto Shinkigeki" (popular stage comedy) (laughs)

The Noah dojo

Kenoh says he has done singles matches three times this year, he feels that each time he does it he feels change, he is both happy and unhappy with it.
They then talk about Kaito Kiyomiya. Kenoh reflects that he did a single match with him before going abroad, and when he went to the dojo today, he was there practicing. Kenoh said that as he wanted to devote his life to Noah, he moved to be closer to the dojo, and recently he has been going there almost every day. There are the regular faces that are always there; Kaito Kiyomiya, Masa Kitamiya, Junta Miyawaki and of course the trainees, and some people do not come to the dojo at all.
Kenoh says that the "old men" (he means the current veterans, Marufuji, Sugiura etc) may have been practicing in that ring a long time ago, but his feelings are currently different from them. He says they only go to the gym, and back at the dojo, the trainees are doing their best for their Noah debut.

"You requested a single match with Naomichi Marufuji?"

Kenoh says that it is frustrating that he didn't have the single pre-championship match, other people elsewhere get it when they come out and ask for it.
They then talk about Marufuji's match with KENTA at Sumo Hall, and Kenoh said he is excited that he gets a match afterwards. He says he thinks he came to Noah to "aim for KENTA'S head", and says he thinks he can exceed him. His own match is a "strange six person tag" like you would find in a dojo. He will bring all these feelings to the title match.

In the pro-wrestling world, requests made for the ring tend to be realized, but it all comes down to circumstances. Kenoh then goes on a rant and says he believes that this refusal from Marufuji is due to a "crackdown from the Noah Shogunate" (yes, Kenoh is now comparing Noah management to a military dictatorship), and says that they have power in both the ring and backstage, and Marufuji has used this power to refuse this single match with Kenoh. Kenoh says he is stubborn and will never stop thinking like this.
The interviewer tries to tell him that it is tough for Marufuji...
Kenoh says he is going to get his single match in August, he will get the belt, and then get the right to challenge Marufuji to a singles match, despite his power both in and out of the ring. He is not concerned about Saito or winning from Saito, he wants Marufuji.
"Do not run away! Marufuji, do not run away!"
