(NOAH) Doug Williams retires; he was Noah's skilled technician and a big match name

Noah's former tag champion, Doug Williams (46 = UK) has confirmed that he will have retired from professional wrestling by 4th October.

He debuted in the UK in October 1993.
He came to Noah for the first time in May 2003, joined the US promotion, Ring of Honor in 2004, and aquired the ROH Pure Throne. Back in Noah in January 2005, he joined Scorpio and won the GHC Heavyweight titles from the team of Mitsuharu Misawa and Yoshinari Ogawa.
He stayed with Noah for many years, and developed a name as skilled technician. He also been crowned X-Division TV Champion with TNA in the USA, held the IWGP Tag Championship in New Japan, and has fought in many organizations in the US and Europe.

Regarding his retirement, Williams says, "it is time now".

  1. And like most wrestling retirements, this aged like milk. He's back wrestling again in 2021.
