The next generation ace, Kaito Kiyomiya (22), who took his first league championship victory at Korakuen Hall (25th November), did an interview at the Noah office at Chiyoda Ward, Tokyo.

At the press conference it was officially announced that he will challenge the GHC Heavyweight Champion, Takashi Sugiura (48) at the Yokohama Cultural Gymnasium on the 16th December.
Kiyomiya, who seems to have settled down after the nights excitement, said with a smile "Battle mode has not yet run out, I can challenge while I am like this."
He also bought up the generation change and said, "The face of Noah is Marufuji and Sugiura at the moment, I want to change those times now". He once again made a pledge for the generation change.

The current champion, Takashi Sugiura, now on his 6th defense, is becoming unbreakable, however at the official match (Korakuen on the 8th), he was rolled up and the three count taken memorably by Kiyomiya.
Kiyomiya is motivated towards the title match and says, "He is considered to be the toughest wrestler. No matter how you look at it, he is a great champion. I want to pin his shoulders with the three count."

In the history of the GHC, the youngest champion on record is Naomichi Marufuji's (39) of being only 26 years and 11 months old. Kiyomiya, who is expecting to make a drastic update says, "I want to concentrate on the belt, and the record will come with the result".
He did not appear excited until the end, and there is a feeling that this new star will bring a new era.

Also in Yokohama it was announced that there will be a GHC Junior war; Kotaro Suzuki will defend the GHC Junior against Daisuke Harada, and the GHC Junior Tag by Minoru Tanaka and Hi69 against Hajime Ohara and Hitoshi Kumano.
