(NOAH) EVENT RECAP ~ "Navigation For The Future 2019" Night Nine ~ Osaka World pavilion (Friday, January 25th 2019)

When Noah come to Osaka, its all about RATELS (and usually local nut, Atsushi Kotoge), who tend to hold their big matches here. All of RATELS have a connection to Osaka, with Daisuke Harada being a native of the city, and all of them being in Osaka Pro.

Noah held their flea market again today (usually they hold it once a year and only at their Christmas show), ring announcer Ally said that it might be an idea to hold them outside of the metropolitan areas and in the provinces.

YO-HEY sold the costume he wore at "NOAHFul Gift" (the horse) and the air-gun that he and HAYATA used when they went to visit YO-HEY'S parents in Yabu, Hyogo when they went hiking (and got lost). The gun would have been to scare away bears, but to be honest, any bear encountering them would probably have found itself petted by HAYATA.
Despite the fact that YO-HEY had loaded it, no one bought it; he also sold some of his old glasses and an old mask. Elsewhere, Go Shiozaki sold a Kentaro Shiga towel...and Katsuhiko Nakajima smiled like the Cheshire Cat.

At the merchandise stand, 50 Funky Powers had a new t-shirt out (limited quantities) and YO-HEY also had his new t-shirt.

Noah held the GHC Junior Heavyweight match signing which will take place in Osaka on the 26th January. I am unsure of what was said exactly, (Noah do not transcribe them anymore unless they take place in the Tokyo office), but Harada made YO-HEY get up and reach over him for the microphone by placing it at his side of the table, and not in the middle as per usual.

MATCH 1
Hi69 vs Masao Inoue
Winner: Hi69 with the Trans Rave (8 minutes and 9 seconds)

MATCH 2
The Backbreakers (Hajime Ohara & Hitoshi Kumano) vs Minoru Tanaka & Kinya Okada
Winner: Hitoshi Kumano with the Shō ryū Gen-han on Kinya Okada (12 minutes and 47 seconds)

Hitoshi Kumano had some kind of sponsorship and came out with a giant rice paddle.

MATCH 3
Go Shiozaki & Katsuhiko Nakajima vs Atsushi Kotoge & Yoshiki Inamura

"I strangled you."

Nakajima wore his sinister wolf jacket to the ring, and Kotoge wore his orange cape to the ring, making Go Shiozaki give him his usual "he's manic but be gentle with him" look...however, this didn't stop Kotoge getting the machine gun chops.
Ring announcer Ally was not impressed by Kotoge's "Revolutionary Fist".

Winner: Katsuhiko Nakajima via referee stop with a sleeper on Yoshiki Inamura (15 minutes and 55 seconds)

MATCH 4
Takashi Sugiura, Kotaro Suzuki & Junta Miyawaki vs Kenoh, HAYATA & TADASUKE

"HAYATA, what will happen tomorrow?"

Said to be a very intense match between Kenoh and Takashi Sugiura (well, with Marufuji not around at the moment, and Kiyomiya otherwise engaged, Kenoh gets one of his obsessions at least). One fan described their clash as "the emotion of trembling increases by a large amount."

After the match Kotaro Suzuki (as Tadasuke looked on) went to shake hands with HAYATA. I'm not sure as to whether HAYATA shook it or not, but I think he abruptly left the ring when Tadasuke tried.

What will happen in Osaka tomorrow?

Winner: HAYATA with the moonsault on Junta Miyawaki (12 minutes and 35 seconds)

MATCH 5
The Hooligans (Maybach Taniguchi, Cody Hall, Mitsuya Nagai) vs 50 Funky Powers (Mohammed Yone & Quiet Storm) & Akitoshi Saito

Mitsuya Nagai pulled YONE'S Afro (Marufuji probably would have made a joke about it considering two members of the team today are bald). The GHC Heavyweight tag title match is tomorrow, and so far in these pre-matches it has been Akitoshi Saito who has defeated members of The Hooligans, very rarely 50 Funky Powers themselves.

Winner: Akitoshi Saito with the running suicludees on Cody Hall (16 minutes and 26 seconds)

MATCH 6
Kaito Kiyomiya & Daisuke Harada vs YO-HEY & Masa Kitamiya

As this is Osaka, the spotlight is on YO-HEY & Daisuke Harada, and so they main-evented today. Harada had had enough of YO-HEY's mocking provocation, and the two of them went to war, with Harada looking far more ferocious than ever had before. This was beyond his "Shark Smells Blood" or "Piranha" face.

After the pinfall he attacked YO-HEY and wrapped his hands around his neck, and was pulled off by the referee and held back by Kaito Kiyomiya. Kiyomiya somehow, despite being a heavyweight and not usually in the same matches as Harada, is the one who breaks up fights between RATELS. Last year he rescued Tadasuke from the tantrum Harada threw when he sneak pinned him during a rumble.

After the match, YO-HEY announced he would be the one who would win tomorrow, and be "the one who is going to show you a new Noah".

WINNER: YO-HEY with the Boston Crab on Daisuke Harada (he didn't quit, I think he did a bridge and pinned him somehow)
