(NOAH) Event Report ~ Global Junior League 2019, Night Two (Shimada City Sports Center Sub Arena, 29th June 2019)

While some in Noah arrived at the venue by bus, Naomichi Marufuji took the train to with NOSAWA Rongai. No one it seemed wanted to sit next to NOSAWA, so Marufuji took pity on him.

Noah are cracking down on the streamer ban now (after everyone ignored it last time) and have announced that only at Korakuen Hall will it be allowed, and nowhere else after July 1st. Fans, naturally, stocked up for this last chance today.

Small venue with a very good crowd today.

MATCH ONE
Atsushi Kotoge vs Kinya Okada

For the first time ever, Kinya Okada (who is nicknamed "OkaKin"), came out to his own theme music.

WINNER: Atsushi Kotoge with the Texas Cloverleaf (8 minutes, 29 seconds)

Very unusual move and finisher for Atsushi Kotoge to use as a finisher, or at all actually.

MATCH TWO
Global Junior League
Tadasuke vs Junta Miyawaki
WINNER: Tadasuke with the lariat (8 minutes, 57 seconds)

MATCH THREE
Global Junior League
HAYATA vs Hitoshi Kumano
WINNER: HAYATA with the Crossfix (11 minutes, 1 second)

MATCH FOUR
Stinger (Yoshinari Ogawa & Kotaro Suzuki) vs RATELS (Daisuke Harada & YO-HEY).

Its rare to see YO-HEY with taping, but he appeared to have some on his lower back\spine today.

Daisuke Harada was taken out by Yoshinari Ogawa and Kotaro Suzuki, so thoroughly that he was kept outside of the ring. One fan said that he had an almost constant attack on his knee.
Harada was helped on to Kinya Okada's back by RATELS, and carried from the ring. However, the injury was not as serious as thought, as he was later seen getting off the subway at his local station.

WINNER: Stinger via count out on Daisuke Harada (17 minutes, 23 seconds)

After the match, Yoshinari Ogawa put on the IPW Junior Heavyweight belt.

When Harada pulled himself into the ring, the ref came to check on him, as did RATELS. It looks like Harada may have picked up a knee injury.

MATCH FIVE
The Sugiura Army (Takashi Sugiura, KAZMA SAKAMOTO & Hajime Ohara) vs Kongoh (Kenoh, Masa Kitamiya & Yoshiki Inamura)

Sugiura's first time in facing Kongoh, said he was looking forward to it.
Kenoh has reached new heights of cockiness by pinning down both Sugiura and Ohara and himself and Kitamiya doing the "Kongoh" pose

WINNER: Takashi Sugiura with the Olympic Slam on Yoshiki Inamura (16 minutes, 37 seconds)

After the match, Sugiura got on the microphone and declared war on Kongoh.

"If you don't be a "company dog", what are you doing? Losing? You have your tails between your legs! Because I have nothing better to do, I will fight you!"

MATCH SIX
Global Junior League
Chris Ridgeway vs Hi69

Ridgeway (in true Stinger style) attacked the already bad knees of Hi69 relentlessly

WINNER: Chris Ridgeway with the ankle lock (13 minutes, 8 seconds)

MATCH SEVEN
AXIZ (Katsuhiko Nakajima & Go Shiozaki), 50 Funky Powers (Mohammed Yone & Quiet Storm) & Minoru Tanaka vs Kaito Kiyomiya, Shuhei Taniguchi, Naomichi Marufuji & The Return of The Dark Agents (Akitoshi Saito & Masao Inoue)

Go Shiozaki named his team "AXIZ 50 Funky Soul" (Minoru Tanaka's tag with Hi69 is known among fans as "Ultra Soul" because of their theme music).

Nakajima and Kiyomiya started the match, and later the action spilled out outside of the ring with everyone fighting each other, with Taniguchi and Shiozaki trashing the merchandise table (where Kotaro Suzuki was sitting). Referee Nishinaga certainly had his hands full. There was also said to be a lot of laughter during the match too, and not just from Nakajima being evil.

Masao Inoue got the kick\chop sandwich from AXIZ.

WINNER: Katsuhiko Nakajima with the Vertical Spike on Masao Inoue (21 minutes, 2 seconds)

Noah's next show is on the 6th July.
