Riki Choshu (67), the chairman of Noah's parent company, LIDET ENTERTAINMENT, gave "Revolutionary" tips to Shuhei Taniguchi (43), who is preparing for a match with Kazuyuki Fujita on the 2nd November Sumo Hall event.

After recieving a request from Taniguchi, Choshu made his first visit to the Noah Dojo in Saitama City on the 25th.
Upon meeting Taniguchi and after his first greeting, he murmured, "I can't teach anything in just one day", and entered into enthusiastic guidance. Sitting down on the ring apron, he lectured Taniguchi for about an hour. During that time, Taniguchi kept his hands behind his back and did not move.

In the ring, although we thought that he was telling a secret, he was checking the basic passive repeatedly saying, "Try to be passive, the technique is what is wrong". He argued that even with a clear passive attitude, there is value in intensity. In addition he said, "Do not make a meaningless appeal", and talked about the importance of expressing with movement rather than voice.
Choshu, who was not aware of Taniguchi, was surprised at the length of his professional wrestling career, "You have been doing this for fourteen years?"

Taniguchi joined Noah in 2005 such as winning the National Championships three times during the SDF era. He has been active as Maybach Taniguchi since 2012, and in May of this year he returned to using the ring name Shuhei Taniguchi, and is exploring a new path. He has worn the GHC Tag belt many times in the past, but he has not experienced any major singles titles. Taking advantage of the fight with Fujita at Sumo Hall, he aims to surface at the top.

Choshu sent encouragement to Taniguchi at the end saying, "flowers bloom, regardless of whether they win or lose."
Taniguchi said, "I want to make the flowers blossom by pushing through at Sumo Hall", and before Choshu he added, "I want to leave both contents and results".
He intends to show his own flowers.
