THE GREEN GUIDE TO NOAH THE BEST 2019 (2ND NOVEMBER AT SUMO HALL)

EVENT DETAILS
Aside from Naomichi Marufuji's 20th anniversary "Flight" (which was held in September 2018), Noah make a tentative return to the stadiums by returning to Sumo Hall. After the years of death, scandal, money worries, declining audiences and bad business decisions and management, this is Noah taking their first steps away from those turbulent times, and ultimately their first steps to returning to the Budokan (known as "that place").
For those who are new to Noah and may be unfamiliar as to why the Budokan is so important to Noah, I will explain briefly; during the "Golden Era" (the first nine years or so of the company), Noah ran the Budokan regularly with seven shows at the Nippon Budokan in 2006 and 2007 alone, six in 2008 and four in 2009; over that period of time they drew 8,000 - 19,000 people. It was the double disaster of Misawa's death in 2009 and then the ticket scandal involving organised crime in March 2012, that put an end to Noah at the Budokan, although they returned there one last time before the doors closed on them, in 2013 to host Kenta Kobashi's retirement show.
So for Noah, who have not been able to return to the Budokan for six years, Sumo Hall is an important step in long journey home. Once Noah return to the Budokan, and the tickets are sold without the terrible subterfuge of two people who caused such problems (and who are both now deceased), it will be redemption and a sign that the dark era is over, and that Noah has somehow and some way despite of everything thrown at it, survived.
However, first of all, they must concentrate on Sumo Hall.

The event itself will feature a mixture of the old and new, and as per traditional style in Noah, they will have a classic "old man match", which in former years was filled with old vets and rookies. No rookies in this years match though (there were more in the dojo back in the "Golden Era"). Eddie Edwards (who knew Noah during "The Golden Era", considered to be "Noah Born", and a former GHC Heavyweight champion) will be returning, as will Super Crazy (who first appeared in Noah in 2012 and stayed until December 2015).
Keiji Mutoh and Naomichi Marufuji will have their first singles match ever, with all GHC titles, plus a new title, the National Championship, will be on the line.

Event will start at 5pm JST.

SPECIAL GUESTS, AUTOGRAPH SCHEDULE, FAN CLUB PICTURES.
Riki Choshu (the chairman of LIDET) will present the GHC National Championship to the winner of Takashi Sugiura vs Michael Elgin. He will also be signing autographs before the event begins.

Kenta Kobashi will serve as the special guest in the main event title match of Kenoh vs Kaito Kiyomiya. Kobashi will officially retire the old belt by removing it, and he will present the new belt to the winner. Noah have not announced whether he will be on commentary or not, or whether (like Choshu) he will be signing autographs at any point.
