(NOAH) "STARTING OVER 2019" Card ~ Korakuen Hall (December 3rd 2019)
MATCH ONE
Hi69, Minoru Tanaka & Junta Miyawaki vs The Sugiura Army (Hajime Ohara, NOSAWA Rongai & Kinya Okada).
Hi69 & Minoru Tanaka team together once more, with the unofficial fifth member of the now defunct unit of "Special 4" (Tanaka, Hi69, Seiya Morohashi and Yoshinari Ogawa, who says he wasn't a member and doesn't remember ever being in it), Junta Miyawaki.
There is a small rivalry brewing between Miyawaki and Kinya Okada.
MATCH TWO
Dragon Bane vs El Hijo de Canis Lupus*
Dragon Bane and older brother (biological) El Hijo de Canis Lupus are the sons of legendary luchador Golpeador. The boys come from a legendary lucha family, and as well as their father, they also have two uncles who are wrestlers. They come to Noah from IWRG.
*Son of the Wolf
MATCH THREE
RATELS (Daisuke Harada, Tadasuke & YO-HEY) vs STINGER (Yoshinari Ogawa, Kotaro Suzuki & Atsushi Kotoge)
Humiliatingly for Daisuke Harada, he and Tadasuke only held the titles for twenty-four days since winning them on 2nd November, only to lose them to their arch enemies not even a month later. This will be their first match against the team who have recaptured their gold. Not a title match, and it is unlikely that RATELS may challenge (Harada and Tadasuke have already held the titles, the titles have been bouncing between RATELS and STINGER, and HAYATA is more concerned with tonight's title match than having YO-HEY challenge on their behalf). We may, however, see another team come out to challenge.
MATCH FOUR
Kaito Kiyomiya, Naomichi Marufuji, Shuhei Taniguchi & Hitoshi Kumano vs 50 Funky Powers (Mohammed Yone & Quiet Storm) & The Anti Wrestlers Alliance (Akitoshi Saito & Masao Inoue).
Another heavyweight match for Hitoshi Kumano, who said recently he was working on putting on weight...at least in this match Marufuji is on his side, and he doesn't face the dreaded knee.
Kaito Kiyomiya has hinted that the next challenger for the GHC Heavyweight may emerge, whether it be a partner, an opponent or even someone else...
MATCH FIVE
GHC JUNIOR HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE MATCH
HAYATA vs Chris Ridgeway
This has been one brutal title challenge.
HAYATA, who doesn't react to much (even Kotaro Suzuki was a little scared by him) has found himself reacting to Chris Ridgeway who like no one else ever seemingly has, has managed to get under his skin and provoke a reaction that even YO-HEY couldn't get out of him when he challenged for the title...then again, YO-HEY didn't trap him in ankle locks, torture him and his friends, or get into repeated brawls outside the ring.
Naomichi Marufuji made the comment that as HAYATA doesn't speak, it has been Ridgeway who has been doing it all. Watch the ring; this is where HAYATA does his speaking.
MATCH SIX
The Sugiura Army (Takashi Sugiura, Kazuyuki Fujita & Hideki Suzuki) vs Kongoh (Kenoh, Masa Kitamiya & Yoshiki Inamura)
This will be the first time that Kenoh will have been in a ring with Fujita and Suzuki, and he says he is looking forward to it. This may well turn into a Kenoh vs Fujita feud, especially since the one with Kenoh vs Kiyoshi Tamura seems to be going nowhere, with Tamura giving no hints he is going to get back in a ring, let alone a wrestling one. It would also work with Kenoh becoming annoyed at Fujita's "mud boat" comments.
Takashi Sugiura says that its going to be a good match, as Masa Kitamiya (who has challenged him for the GHC National Championship), is going to get beaten up. By him.
Hideki Suzuki says that this is going to be a good match too. HE is the most interested in Yoshiki Inamura.
MATCH SEVEN
15th Anniversary Debut matchKatsuhiko Nakajima vs Go Shiozaki
Katsuhiko Nakajima and Go Shiozaki both made their debut in 2004 (Shiozaki in July, and Nakajima in January). Celebrating their 15 years in wrestling, they have had a joint celebration in a tag, and now they square off in a singles match, getting back to where it all began on November 5th 2005 when they first faced off with each other, after seconding their respective teachers (Shiozaki was trained by Kenta Kobashi, and Nakajima by what he calls his "foster father", Kensuke Sasaki) in July of that year. At Noah's last show in Niigata, Shiozaki offered Nakajima a handshake, and similar to Marufuji to Sugiura saying "lets do a match, that only we can do", Shiozaki basically said to Nakajima "lets make the world thunder" (i.e. "Set the world on fire").
This event will not be streamed, but broadcast via Samurai TV on 8th December 11pm JST.
