(NOAH) SCRAMBLE HISTORY: NAOMICHI MARUFUJI VS ZAC SABRE JNR

Welcome to "Scramble History" whereby I randomly list the current Noah roster and a past Noah roster and look into the history of any matches.
Results may vary.

Naomichi Marufuji & Zac Sabre Jnr had nine matches in total; one in 2012, three in 2014 and then the final five 2015, which took place during the Suzuki-Gun era. Over the course of 2012, 2014 and 2015 they tagged together six times, and had three matches against each other. The matches all took place in Japan.
The matches that they had were all tag matches, they never have had a singles match at the time of writing, and they have never faced each other for any championships (Marufuji was by this time a heavyweight, while Zac was a junior heavyweight). They never faced each other for any singles matches, the closest they came was on the 28th April 2014 when Naomichi Marufuji and Katsuhiko Nakajima, teamed against Zac Sabre Jnr and Yoshinari Ogawa (who lost), the rest of the matches were multiple man tags.

Their first match was an eight man tag team survival at Diamond Ring on the 5th May 2012, where Kensuke Sasaki teamed with Kento Miyahara, Mitsuhiro Kitamiya (later Noah's Masa Kitamiya) & Satoshi Kajiwara against Marufuji's BRAVE stable of Mohammed Yone, Naomichi Marufuji and Taiji Ishimori. Zac teamed with them, but he was not a member of BRAVE, and in any case, the Noah team lost.

The most matches that they had either against or tagging with each other was in 2015 where they teamed together five times (the closest they came to having a tag being just them was a three man a couple of times, once with Super Crazy and another with Maybach (Shuhei) Taniguchi), and managed to beat Suzuki-Gun four out of five times. Their final match was on 25th October 2015, teaming together with Colt Cabana and Taiji Ishimori against Davey Boy Smith Jnr, Shelton Benjamin, Taichi and Taka Michinoku.
