Q: What has been the reaction to your winning the award?
SAKURABA: The people who I practiced with said a little, Tokoro (Hideo) also said "Congratulations", as if he had just remembered something.
Q: Over the last year you have had fun fighting in Noah
SAKURABA: I somehow feel that my style ad Noah's style are mixed, and it feels good.
Q: Then you want to stay with Noah for a long time?
SAKURABA: That's right, until death.
Q: Last year, there was also Coronavirus
SAKURABA: I didn't have much to do while in the quarantine period, so I started organizing my house. Looking back on old magazines and so on. After that, I watched Takako Tokiwa drama's all the time.
Q: You got quite into it?
SAKURABA: I became addicted to it after seeing her starring in "Say I Love You". After watching about ten episodes, I came to "Beautiful Life", "Beautiful Person" and "Living Alone". I watched "Love Letter In A Drawer" the other day.
Q: Addiction!
SAKURABA: I am here because of Takako Tokiwa
Q: What have you learnt from Tokiwa?
SAKURABA: The image of Takako Tokiwa as an artist is very educational. I want to meet her. If possible, I would like to ask her directly about acting, "How do you cry?"
Q: Dreams can come true, Kenoh (GHC National Champion) said so
SAKURABA: Seriously? Well then, if so, will Sugiura also go too?
SUGIURA (quickly): Yes, I will go
Q: Other than "meeting Tokiwa-san", what are your goals?
SAKURABA: I am askig Sugiura for advice while doing it, for example "The Calf Slicer"...it's like a key lock but on your foot. I would like to be able to do martial arts skills in the manner of pro wrestling, so they can be easily communicated to the customers. I want to do joint techniques that are easy to convey, like Takako Tokiwa's tears. I want to be able to do it while crying.
Q: The Nippon Budokan event which will be held next month, is the place where you made your debut?
SAKURABA: If people can come, then I want to have a match while thinking about my debut. I want to bring out the same level of feeling and physical strength at that time.
