Pro Wrestlers have no shortage of "drunken legends" or "drunken episodes". From that you can feel from that is a strong body and a dynamic personality that is typical of a professional wrestler. 

Currently, there are many wrestlers who strive to take care of their health in their daily lives, but it is Naomichi Marufuji of Pro Wrestling Noah, who boasts of his strong drinking ability. It is said that no matter how much he drinks, he won't be defeated, and ultimately there is even a project on YouTube that says, "If you defeat Marufuji, you will get 1 million yen". In the video "I've been drinking for twelve hours" Marufuji talked about episodes such as "I drank a liter of sake at a sushi restaurant" and "I don't drink alcohol with a mixer". Marufuji talked about an episode where, "When I drink Green Tea High*, sake is the chaser". Other amazing episodes from Noah's wrestlers are shown. 

When I asked Marufuji once, "Who is Noah's all-time number one heavy drinker?" he affirmed "(Akitoshi) Saito", and he also said "Misawa-san used to drink until morning after a title match had finished. When I got drunk, I gave the taxi fare twice (laughs)." I can well imagine the story, but if you think about it, it's unusual for him to drink until the morning afterwards. Then again, this is Misawa. 

Incidentally, Takashi Sugiura says he "doesn't know" who is Noah's number one drinker. This is because, "I never drink the same amount. You have to drink the same amount and compare". In other words, he means that "everyone who drinks is strong". He told me these stories about episodes at drinking parties;

"I remember when Akira Taue got drunk, and cut (Satoru) Asako's hair with scissors, making his head even more bald"

"There was a time when some of the wrestlers were sitting around the table drinking, but Daisuke Harada suddenly stood up and left without saying anything. Okada (Kinya) also has a habit of disappearing*".

I would like to expect that someday, "Noah's party" will be made into a YouTube. However, Misawa, the founder of Noah, did not force the drinking of alcohol*, and that has been inherited by the current Noah. Sugiura says, "Don't force yourself to drink alcohol". 

There must be many fans who feel like Noah in that kind of stance.
