(NOAH) Long awaited one on one fight with Katsuhiko Nakajima! Will Daiki Inaba's obsession with Katsuhiko Nakajima be fulfilled?

On Monday September 19th, a single match between Kongoh's Katsuhiko Nakajima and Daiki Inaba has been arranged for the Yokohama Radiant Hall event. At first glance, this looks like an unusual singles match, but there is actually a connection between the two. Katsuhiko Nakajima and Daiki Inaba encounter

The connection between Katsuhiko Nakajima and Daiki Inaba, was the WRESTLE-1 Osaka event on New Years Eve 2019. At that time, Daiki Inaba, the champion of WRESTLE-1, formed a champion tag with Kaito Kiyomiya, the GHC Heavyweight Champion, and collided with Katsuhiko Nakajima and Shotaro Ashino (now part of All Japan). Nakajima appeared when Inaba was commenting alone and provoked, "I learned your name in the match today. You have a belt. You are very popular. The belt should be shining more, but it's just the same as you. I've lost interest even more today."

Inaba, however, nominated Nakajima as the next challenger. The WRESTLE-1 championship match was set up at Korakuen Hall in January of the following year. Inaba was at the top of the promotion, and welcomed challengers from other promotions. Nakajima, was a challenger who was relaxed. For the fans, what kind of match it would be, was very high in expectation.

But the result of the match was terrible. Nakajima completely surpassed Inaba and beat him to the point while Inaba could not speak, and said "This ring is no good. If you are immersed in this kind of lukewarm ring, I can do anything. That's what it is, and I have the belt."

Katsuhiko Nakajima defeated everything Inaba had built as champion, the expectations of carrying the promotion as the champion, and the expectation of the WRESTLE-1 fans. However, WRESTLE-1 announced in April 2020 that they were suspending all activities, without Inaba having a chance to get revenge on Nakajima.

Nakajima, however, has continued to fight as a top wrestler in Noah. He joined Kongoh with the style of his battle being more intense than ever, giving his opponents a strong slap and a kick without mercy, and a brilliant track record such as two N-1 Victory consecutive victories and the GHC Heavyweight Championship. He could not achieve his third consecutive N-1 VICTORY, but his ability is beyond reproach. He is definitely one of the wrestlers who lead Noah today.

Daiki Inaba said about the match;

"For Nakajima, this match may be simply a "a set match", and I might not be in his vison now, and this may be a one sided connection, but I have never forgotten that humiliation".
