At the New Japan Pro Wrestling Korakuen Hall event on the 26th, The Great Muta, who is about to retire in January next year, made a surprise appearance.
With the retirement of his agent Keiji Mutoh (Noah) at the Tokyo Dome on February 21st next year, Muta will have his last match at the Yokohama Arena on January 22nd next year. Muta, who is entering the last chapter with Mutoh, had his first battle with The Great O-Khan at Noah's September 3rd event in Osaka. However, after the match, he gave O-khan the poisonous mist and broke with him saying, "Fuckin' O-Khan! See you soon. Maybe United States. Maybe New Japan too." He hinted at an appearance in New Japan, his old nest.
At the Korakuen Hall event today, O-Khan clashed with Toru Yano in the first round of the "NJPW WORLD Certified TV Championship First Champion Determination Tournament". When O-Khan put Yano in the Eliminator position, the hall went dark. When the lights came on again, Muta appeared at ringside...Muta shot green mist at the agitated O-Khan, and Yano rolled him up, forcing O-Khan to lose. Muta, who appeared on the New Japan mat for the first time in about three and a half years since the event in New York in April 2019, shook hands with his former partner Yano, who he fought together with at the Tokyo Dome on January 4th 2014.
Furthermore backstage, Muta declared that he would participate in the joint show of New Japan and Stardom (November 20th, Ariake Arena) and declared he would punish O-Khan in a trio with Kazuchika Okada and Yano, "Fuckin' O-Khan! I beat him, Ariake Arena. He (Yano) is my partner, Okada is my partner, too! I'm hungry!"
For Muta, who will return to the demon realm in January next year, if this happens then this Ariake match, which could be the last match in his old home, will become impossible to look away from.
