JUNTA MIYAWAKI
(Interview was done before the match at the Kanazawa event on July 30th before the two exchanged handshakes)

Q: What are your thoughts about the tournament to determine the next challenger for the GHC Junior Tag Championship?
MIYAWAKI: I have just returned from Mexico, and I haven't been able to get any results. I want to win the right to challenge.
Q: What is your impression of your partner AMAKUSA?
MIYWAKI: I have a lot of respect for the opponent I faced in my first match back home in Mexico. I think he is a wrestler who will guide me.
Q: What is the potential of the team?
MIYAWAKI: His body is small, but he has great mobility and techniques that other teams don't have, so I feel the possibilities. AMAKUSA-san said, "I want you to show me more passion", and since he said that I want to show my passion and make the team even hotter than ever.
Q: In the first round you will face Kotoge & HI69?
MIYAWAKI: Both are powerful. I think it will be a tough fight, but I would like to find a solution through the pre-match.
Q: If you win, you will face either Shuji Kondo & Seiki Yoshioka or YO-HEY and Tadasuke
MIYAWAKI: First of all, we have to win against Kotoge and Hi69 in the first match, but since joining GLG, the team of Tadasuke and YO-HEY has been very strong.
Q: What is your impression of the current champions, Chris Ridgeway and Daga?
MIYAWAKI: I think they are a perfect championship team with no flaws at all
Q: This will be your first challenge since teaming up with Alejandro, but what are your thoughts on the GHC Junior Tag Championship?
MIYAWAKI: The last time I challenged was with (Daisuke) Harada, who I admired. It's a belt that I have been dreaming of since I was a fan, so I definitely want to win it with AMAKUSA. After returning to Japan, I would like to change the current situation of not being able to produce results, and win the right to challenge without fail!

AMAKUSA
(AMAKUSA speaks in a very old fashioned and archaic way, such as using "Dono" instead of "San" and using the Ateji reading for some words such as "Mexico")

Q: What are your honest thoughts about the tournament to determine the next challenger for the GHC Junior Tag Championship?
AMAKUSA: My name is AMAKUSA. Please remember me. The peaks of both sides that have not been seen in this bout with the names of veteran warriors (brave and strong samurai) lining up. I can't help but for my heart to burn. We will continue to move forward with all our hearts so that we can turn this opportunity into something new.
Q: Why did you team up with Miyawaki, and what is your impression of the team?
AMAKUSA: Mr Miyawaki returned from Mexico and shined even more brilliantly. However, I am sorry that he has not been able to fully demonstrate his power. We are fully aware that the road ahead for us will be tougher than for those who have walked a long military service together. At this rate, Miyawaki-dono, I still don't have enough of your passion! I think everything depends on how much resolve you can bring, and how you and I can get along together.
Q: In the first round, you will face Kotoge & HI69?
AMAKUSA: Everyone's passion for this battle, especially from those two, is extraordinary. The two people who have fought many times team up. There is no reason that is not a threat. I will never hesitate to challenge you.
Q: What is your impression of the current champions, Chris Ridgeway and Daga?
AMAKUSA: First and foremost, I'm only thinking about winning this bout. Each of us has the earnest desire to win this battle, and Miyawaki-dono and I will challenge with the determination to win. In order to lead the new era, I'll survive this battle to the death. August 9th at Korakuen Hall...it's time to fight! Please see our skills
Q: How do you feel about the the GHC Junior Tag Championship itself?
AMAKUSA: Did you know what you always form a corps when challenging high peaks? Hand in hand in a crisis, with comrades to whom they can entrust their lives. I believe that the presence of comrades who are in tune with each other will be a good thing for the Noah Juniors in the future.
Q: How confident are you of winning?
AMAKUSA: That question...isn't it a stupid question? We will challenge both summits!
