INTERVIEW

Q: What are your thoughts on participating in the N-1 VICTORY 2023?
SOYA: I don't want to look back too much on the past, but I couldn't move forward last time. Because of that humiliation, I would like not only to participate in this years competition, but also achieve good results.
Q: When participating in 2021, you had a record of no wins in Block A. How do you look back on it?
SOYA: Regardless of whether the N-1 is a tournament with a high hurdle or not, and regardless of the results in 2021, I definitely want to leave a result this year in 2023.
Q: So, are there any wrestlers that you are interested in in B Block of the N-1 VICTORY 2023?
SOYA: No matter what, the two members of AXIZ (Go Shiozaki and Katsuhiko Nakajima) naturally come into sight. That's where I stand, and I guess the two of them are aware of it.
Q: Are there any wrestlers from Block A that you want to fight in the championship?
SOYA: It figures that I think there is something to be said for the GHC champion Jake Lee, but more than that, Kenoh, who I was originally working with. Kenoh is someone I am aware of.
Q: What kind of battle do you want to show in the N-1 VICTORY 2023?
SOYA: Everyone is aiming to enter this tournament with the aim of winning, so naturally that is the goal. It might be strange to say that this is a fight to the death, but I want to strongly fight each and every match.
Q: Finally, please tell us of your enthusiasm.
SOYA: N-1 VICTORY 2023, no matter what, Manabu Soya will win.
