Q: What are your thoughts on your first appearance in the N-1 VICTORY?
JAKE: Everything is going well. I have already announced that I am going to win all matches, so of course it is.
Q: Are there any wrestlers you are interested in in A Block of the N-1 VICTORY 2023?
JAKE: There are still a lot of wrestlers who I haven't tried, so there are a great deal of singles. I wonder if there is a wrestler in Block A? Which wrestler there has been a lot with? Awareness of Jack Morris, and my first move in Noah, or rather my action, was when I shook Jack's hand, and everything started from there. That's why we have never fought. We have fought in a tag team together, but we have never fought. But, we know exactly what we should do and what the opponent will do. It's the same as "Shall we do this comfortably?"
Q: Are there any wrestlers from B Block that you want to fight in the finals?
JAKE: Katsuhiko Nakajima is currently gaining the most momentum. I felt that when I saw him at Korakuen the other day. Looking at him now, he's a little different from my first defense, and so if I have the chance to do it again, I really want to do it.
Q: What kind of battle do you want to show at the N-1 VICTORY 2023?
JAKE: I'm big and have a completely different rhythm and pace than other wrestlers, and yet I'm polite in the ring. An unprecedented type of wrestler, and after showing it once again, I think that no one will ever complain about me anymore if I can take the opponent's technique and win the league. I want the audience to come to the venue and listen to it and feel it firsthand.
