Q: What are your thoughts on participating in the N-1 VICTORY 2023?
MORRIS: I'm really looking forward to participating in this years N-1 VICTORY. I made my Noah debut in last years N-1, and I am happy to be able to participate again this year. What have I achieved so far, and how much have I grown? I will show you how I have grown as a wrestler this year.
Q: What are your thoughts when you look back on last years record of 3 wins and 4 losses in B Block?
MORRIS: Debuting with Noah in the N-1 VICTORY alone was a very big event for me. Seven top wrestlers and seven singles matches, it was a great opportunity to get to know Jack Morris.
Q: So, are there any wrestlers that you are interested in in A Block of the N-1 VICTORY 2023?
MORRIS: I'm most interested in Jake Lee. GLG member, Good Looking Guy. I think this is going to be interesting. Jake is a professional, but just like me, when that gong rings, both of us are aiming to win. But when the gong rings again, we'll shake hands. I will accept, whatever the result is. Of course, if you don't have the confidence, you won't enter the ring, but if you want to become a champion who can challenge for the belt after winning the N-1, you have to defeat Jake in the N-1. I need to beat the champion.
Q: Are there any wrestlers from Block B that you want to fight in the championship?
MORRIS: There are many wrestlers who I have already fought with. I have fought with Nakajima and Wagner, but Go Shiozaki is the only member of Noah who I haven't fought in a singles match yet. I think Jack Morris vs Go Shiozaki will happen eventually, and if so it would be interesting if it could happen in the N-1 Championship Match.
Q: What kind of battle do you want to show in the N-1 VICTORY 2023?
MORRIS: Every time I enter the ring, I'm going to win. I will carry out the words written on this t-shirt ("SUBLIME EVERY TIME") in the ring. I'm going to win in the best way.
Q: Finally, please tell us of your enthusiasm.
MORRIS: I have only one reason to participate in the N-1 VICTORY 2023. To win. The day I become the GHC Heavyweight Champion will surely come to Noah. First of all, I will win the N-1 VICTORY 2023, challenge the champion, and then become the champion.
