Match Card
MATCH ONE
Atsushi Kotoge, Hi69 & Alejandro vs Kai Fujimura, Taishi Ozawa & Yu Owada
MATCH TWO
Masa Kitamiya & Manabu Soya vs Funky Express (Akitoshi Saito & Mohammed Yone)
The team of Masa Kitamiya and Manabu Soya (along with Daiki Inaba) doesn't have a name yet officially, but fans are making references to the word "BEEF", along with two steaks and a hamburger reference. No matter what they are called, tonight they go up against the equally hoss Akitoshi Saito and Mohammed Yone, who (for their own team) are making a rare tag these days.
MATCH THREE
Daiki Inaba, Seiki Yoshioka & Hajime Ohara vs Good Looking Guys (LJ Cleary, YO-HEY & Tadasuke)
There is no pre match tonight for YO-HEY and Tadasuke, but in return they get to give LJ Cleary a taste of this wild division. For Seiki Yoshioka, who will be "taking a break" from Noah in Fukuoka, "in order to prepare for a new challenge" (whatever that may be), Hiroshima is the place where it all began for him when he (and HAYATA) debuted in WrestleGate. Yoshioka celebrated fifteen years in wrestling on October 5th, so this is a homecoming of sorts.
MATCH FOUR
Jack Morris vs Ryohei Oiwa
Despite leading a team of angry men out to face Good Looking Guys, and some past victories over Anthony Green in the pre matches, Green picked up a win over Oiwa when he won over him via elimination at MONDAY MAGIC Episode 2 this past week. Tonight Green is backing up Jake Lee elsewhere on the card, so Oiwa has to contend with Jack Morris.
MATCH FIVE
El Hijo Del Dr Wagner Jnr & STINGER (Daga & Yoshinari Ogawa) vs Kaito Kiyomiya, HAYATA & Eita
Daga has a big chance tonight to revenge himself but humiliate HAYATA in front of his (HAYATA's) hometown fans and family. Added to that is Yoshinari Ogawa still gunning for Kaito Kiyomiya, who he is now saying has a fake smile. El Hijo Del Dr Wagner Jnr is kind of the odd one out in this match, and no doubt Eita will find some way to make HAYATA squirm, either by fanboying Kaito Kiyomiya, or else embarrassing him some way should he get flowers on his homecoming. I also wonder how well STINGER (whose members are dwindling) are going to get on following Ogawa's reaction to Daga's loss last time.
MATCH SIX
Los Golpeadores (Dragon Bane & Alpha Wolf) & Xtreme Tiger vs Ninja Mack, TERRY YAKI & Junta Miyawaki
Wild Noah Juniors and wild Luchadores in this match...expect tables trashed, everyone trying to outdo each other, and very little respect for rules or referees.
MATCH SEVEN
Good Looking Guys (Jake Lee & Anthony Green) vs Kenoh & Stallion Rogers
The title match is drawing nearer (Saturday) and time is running out for both the champion, Jake Lee, and his challenger, Kenoh. So far there hasn't been a pinfall over the other, but there has been humiliation with Kenoh knocking Jake down with the belt, and Jake returning the favor, albeit in a more controlled way, one that doesn't involve swearing, yelling loudly and standing with his foot on Kenoh's chest, which is what Kenoh did to him. Both have now a deep score to settle with the other.
MATCH EIGHT
Naomichi Marufuji, Takashi Sugiura & Go Shiozaki vs REAL (Hideki Suzuki, Saxon Huxley & Shuhei Taniguchi)
With the Saturday in Fukuoka looming that will see both Go Shiozaki and Noah say farewell to Katsuhiko Nakajima, tonight Shiozaki's opponents in Fukuoka, become his teammates as the three of them team together to take on REAL. Shiozaki and Naomichi Marufuji have their "chop competition" which will be visited no doubt upon one hapless member of REAL (probably Shuhei Taniguchi), and of course Hideki Suzuki and Go Shiozaki have a rivalry, while Shuhei Taniguchi no doubt will want to show his seniors his new enthusiasm (the question of "What to do with Taniguchi?" seems to have been settled for now), and use Takashi Sugiura in the "Tani Bomb" in the process.
