Wagner & Galeno fail to capture the GHC Tag Team Titles

1st January forbidden sibling showdown at Nippon Budokan! Older brother tells younger brother, "I'll teach you everything"

In July of this year, Galeno Del Mal joined his older brother, El Hijo de Doctor Wagner Jr, in Noah, where he mainly fights. As a brother tag team, they steadily racked up victories, and on November 17th in Nagoya, they finally announced their challenge to Naomichi Marufuji and Takashi Sugiura for the GHC Tag Team Championship. Galeno, who is physically larger than his brother, always puts on an impactful fight in the Noah ring. Not only does he use his large size to his advantage in powerful attacks, but he is also able to use agile aerial techniques despite being 188cm tall and weighing 138kg. Even when facing Marufuji & Sugiura in the title match, their high potential was fully demonstrated, and it was easy to understand why the champions praised them highly, saying "amazing" and "world class." But although challengers dominated the match for eighty percent of the time, Galeno was unable to take the GHC Tag Team Championship. Sugiura said, "That was close", while Marufuji who got the win with a roll up said, "He was big! It was a close call in many ways, and I couldn't have won without doing that".  

In the end, Galeno, who had been entrusted with the match by his brother, went to finish off Marufuji, but Sugiura kicked Wagner away, causing a mistake like a billiards game. Marufuji took advantage of the opening, and rolled him up.   

After the match, the brothers were seen venting their frustrations to each other...

Backstage, Wagner criticized Galeno, saying, "Today, we couldn't get the belt because of you. I say this as your older brother. You have to grow up more." He then suggested, "So I'll teach you everything I have. Now is the time for a one-on-one fight between brothers. Let's fight, Wagner vs. Galeno, at the Nippon Budokan on January 1, 2025."

The first ever brother showdown in Japan was officially confirmed, where Wagner, the older brother, plans to instill his murder doctor style in his younger brother Galeno in the match.
