SAMURAI! TV - this weeks recommended broadcast
Noah's Ark, which started on Samurai! TV, was originally planned to be a talk-based information show, but once Noah was launched, the broadcasts were also constantly being shown on Samurai!, and it has now been upgraded to a packed two-hour program that includes everything from talk to matches.
On September 9th, the matches from the Ariake event on August 19th and Misawa's challenge to become a car racer* will be aired. Speaking of August 19th! It was the event where a revolutionary storm blew through the Noah mat. In the main event, a highly anticipated match between Kobashi & Rikio, Akiyama & Kanemaru, and Takayama, Shiga, Morishima and others confirmed their intention to join forces with Jun Akiyama (pictured). Don't miss this event, which became Noah's revolutionary anniversary.
In addition, the following week on September 16th, it has been decided that there will be a live broadcast of the Differ Ariake event, which will be held that day. Due to time constraints, some parts were cut from the broadcast of two matches following the launch, but this time it will be broadcast live, so you can enjoy the atmosphere of the venue and the excitement of the entire show.
Notes
Misawa the car racer: At Misawa's funeral nine years later, this was how his family chose to remember him. The picture they displayed was not of him in his green robes, hands on hips, staring into the camera as the GHC Heavyweight Champion, but in his car racer uniform. Evidently this moment meant a lot to him, and to them.
Fan Art
The pictures this week are of Jun Akiyama. Two of the pictures were sent in by fans from Osaka, which is where Akiyama is from.
We're looking for names for Morishima's finishing move!
Morishima is asking for suggestions for the name of his finishing move. Until now the magazine has referred to it as "Reverse Nodowa Otoshi face buster*", but Morishima has requested that fans give it a cooler name.
If you have a name in mind, please write your name, address, age, phone number and the name of a technique on a postcard. Please write the origin of the name, and send it to the "New Techniques" section of Weekly Pro Wrestling. Deadline is November 15th.
The postcards will be handed directly to Morishima, who will choose himself. The winner will receive the t-shirt, signed by Morishima, that he wore when he entered the ring for his match at Noah's inauguration.
Please send in as many cool names as you can!
