Takeshi Morishima said, "Winning and losing are important, but I want to make the biggest impact in every match". 

The singles match against Takayama was a golden opportunity to make a strong impact. Morishima was determined to win, and even if he lost, he could still make his presence known by putting pressure on his opponent, so he went up against a big wall full of spirit. However, in the end, he failed to make an impact. Or, more accurately, the impact that Morishima had on the fans was wiped out by the impact that Takayama made.

Before the bell rang, Morishima launched an attack, followed by a diving shoulder to the outside of the ring, followed by a powerful and unparalleled lariat, and then his trump card, the reverse chokeslam. The rush up to this point was impressive, but it was all wiped out by Takayama's incredible attack later on as with a running start, Takayama spun Morishima's massive body around with a knee lift and lifted him high into the air. A terrifying human bridge. With just these two attacks, Takayama completely erased Morishima's existence. This is the power of a serious top wrestler. Morishima himself admitted that he was completely defeated, saying, "You can see the difference in our abilities."

This time, Morishima wasn't able to make an impact, but that is by no means a negative. The fact that he was able to experience the shock of a serious top wrestler, should be a big plus for Morishima going forward. The fact that Takayama was serious about crushing him is far more important than the result of a complete defeat.
