(NOAH) The main card for Noah's NAVIGATION has been decided; Vader, Scorpio and Richard Slinger will be taking part!

Weekly Pro 17th October 2000
(Issue No. 999)

On October 8th in Yokohama, Akiyama & Takayama will face off against Kobashi & Omori!
On October 11th in Nagoya, Kobashi and Taue will face off against each other.

On Friday, September 29th at 4:30pm, President Mitsuharu Misawa held a press conference at the Noah office and announced that Vader, Scorpio and Richard Slinger will be taking part in Noah's first full-scale series, NAVIGATION,  which will begin at Ariake on October 7th.
The problem here is Vader. It's a contractual issue for wrestlers who have been regular participants in All Japan Pro Wrestling, such as Scorpio. In particular, Scorpio's name has already been announced for All Japan's October series. Regarding this matter, Misawa commented as follows: ""I met Vader and Scorpio on September 9th and September 11th in Hawaii, respectively, and they told me they wanted to wrestle with us. We don't want to poach them or cause any problems, so even if they cancel at the last minute, I won't blame them and it's up to them."
The members themselves have expressed their desire to participate, and Noah's side has agreed to this, but they plan to wait until they arrive in Japan before signing a contract. This means that no contract has been signed yet at this stage.
The explanation given for how he ended up taking part was that Vader had gotten in contact, and said that he wanted to take part in Noah, so they had made arrangements to accommodate him. Whatever the truth may be, All Japan responded immediately to the matter, saying that they still had a contract with Vader, and that if he were to take Noah on, they would have no choice but to take the matter to court.
For the time being, Noah has scheduled a match involving Vader and Scorpio. Making such an announcement here means that Noah's side has already confirmed that it was just a verbal promise, and it is almost certain that Vader will be taking part in the Ariake show on October 7th.
Vader himself is also scheduled to hold a press conference on October 6th. I'm concerned about All Japan's response...
Additionally, at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, October 2nd, Takao Omori held a press conference  where he spoke about his thoughts on starting a full-scale tag team with Kobashi in the next series; "If I was going to team up with a weakling, there was no point in teaming up with a weakling. They also approached me, so I decided to team up with Kobashi and take on Takayama & Akiyama"
Noah's first long circuit is finally here.

PICTURE NOTES
Not only was he beaten, Vader's arm was injured in his last All Japan match against Mitsuharu Misawa, and he had to return to America. Vader came to Japan with a burning desire for revenge against Misawa.
Richard Slinger will be visiting Japan for the first time in a while. He has been away from the ring due to military service.
"I don't want No Fear to end here. I'll make my case to Takayama in the ring" (Omori)
Misawa said, "I have no intention of poaching them, so if they cancel at the last minute. I won't pursue them".
