(NOAH) Wearing orange tights for his first match against foreign opponents, Kenta's fruitful series begins!
(Issue No. 1000)
Kobayashi didn't get many opportunities to compete in matches when the promotion first started, but this series looks set to be a fruitful one for him.
In the opening match, he faced foreign opponents for the first time since his debut. Against seasoned veterans Scorpio and Rich, he showed no signs of being intimidated, displaying a fast-paced, junior-style fight. And then against the WEW Tag Team Champions, Inoue & Kanemaru, in Yokohama, he appeared in a new orange costume. The name "Orange Kenta" strongly evokes the image of Kenta Kobashi, his senior, but Kobashi changed his costume to black the day before. From now on, Kobayashi will inherit the title "Orange Kenta".
The number of participants is enormous, and matches are scheduled every day, but this series is a great opportunity for Kobayashi to gain experience. Whether he can seize that opportunity is up to him, but judging from the first two matches, I have a feeling this will be a breakthrough series for him.
