(ALL JAPAN) All-Japan Squad First Overseas Expedition to Taiwan: "Let's Unite the World Through Pro Wrestling!"
11th March 1986
Weekly Pro (Issue No 134)
The All Japan Pro-Wrestling contingent, led by Giant Baba, undertook its first tour of Taiwan from February 13 to 19. A total of four matches were held: two in Kaohsiung (on the 14th and 15th) and two in Taichung (on the 16th and 17th). Tiger Mask stole the spotlight in the ring, captivating Taiwanese fans with his signature aerial manoeuvres and transporting them into a "fourth-dimensional world." Outside the ring, the All Japan wrestlers were also highly active as "unofficial goodwill ambassadors," engaging in activities such as paying a courtesy call at City Hall.
"Tiger and Baba seemed to dominate the popularity"
Finally, the All Japan team took to the ring in Taiwan
