GHC Heavyweight Champion Kenoh (33) was defeated in the pre-match battle with Yuko Miyamoto (35) who will he will defend against at Korakuen Hall on February 2nd.
Teaming with Takashi Sugiura, he fought against the team of Yuko Miyamoto and Minoru Tanaka. In the opening stages of the match he overwhelmed Yuko Miyamoto.
However there was a pitfall waiting for him at the end.
In the brawl outside the ring, he was hit headfirst from the apron onto a table. Kenoh, who smashed his head, had bloodshed from his elbow and fainted. He was counted out by 20.
Although Miyamoto has been active in other promotions, this has been Kenoh's first experience with anything like a deathmatch. Miyamoto said, "he has never had such a match, this is a different place for him. I will keep approaching the match at a steady pace, and will wear the belt on February 2nd".
