(Noah) Satoko's Room: Kenoh (September 2015)
Kenoh doing rare comedy at the end of the segment |
September 2015
Episode opened with Marilyn Monroe's "I Wanna Be Loved By You" played over images of Satoko (Mohammed Yone) and then ending with the usual wink, stars and fade out to Satoko.
The episode is filmed as usual at "Yoneya" (the restaurant Mohammed Yone runs in Tokyo). The episode is filmed on static camera, and the sound and the picture quality is not too great. The episode tends to be loud (as Yone is loud) and there is a lot of shrieking and laughter from the staff in the background.
Today's guest is Kenoh. Kenoh does not look very comfortable most of the time being here, and the red from his t-shirt makes him look flushed. Sometimes he puts his hands briefly over his face. Contrary to his grumpy appearance, he does smile, and gets some laughs from the audience, growls about Noah on his introduction, generally speaks quietly and does not join in with any of the singing.
Poster for Noah's event on the 30th September 2015 can be seen to the right of Kenoh, while the walls are filled with posters and pictures of dishes (Yone holding one can be glimpsed sometimes to the right of Satoko) and a handmade poster for Sake hovers above Kenoh's head.
Satoko jokes she has a pacemaker
Satoko attempts to feed Kenoh some squid. He has none of it and stares at the camera.
Jokes are made about Satoko's goatee, which is likened to Zac Sabre Jnrs
During the segment of the show where Kenoh's achievements are introduced, written on white cardboard, Satoko sings the Star Wars theme loudly. During this part of the show Kenoh just stares at the camera and says nothing.
Satoko is given a Kenoh t-shirt and asks "does this suit me?"
The episode ends with Mohammed Yone singing a song from his album (he has a good voice).
