Kenoh & Takashi Sugiura vs Mohammed Yone & Masa Kitamiya (Great Voyage in Yokohama 2017)

The quaking looking interviewer starts by asking Kenoh and Takashi Sugiura what their thoughts are on the upcoming match against Masa Kitamiya and Mohammed Yone for the vacant GHC Heavyweight Tag Team titles (the titles were vacated due to Kenoh and Kitamiya winning them, and then Kenoh turning on Kitamiya).
Kenoh delivers a typically angry promo saying that he has a big question for Noah, and that question is what do they think will happen to the tag belts tonight? He can answer it, they will be victorious.
The interviewer then turns to Sugiura (who is standing with his arms crossed and who gives him a weary look) and asks for a few words from him.
Sugiura looks at him and tells him to speak what is on his mind.
“You seem distracted”
“Why distracted?”

Sugiura tells him he is a fool and his idiocy has been captured on camera and he might as well just admit it (which he does, embarrassed). Kenoh (who is trying desperately not to laugh), calls him a “bastard”.
The interviewer admits his error, admits he is a fool as they say, and things settle down for a little, aside from Sugiura rolling his eyes at him and the usual Kenoh promo to close.

He has a better time interviewing Mohammed Yone and Masa Kitamiya, who are not as intimidating. Unfortunately Quiet Storm has been injured (he had a horrible muscle injury) and this is touched on as he was formerly Yone's tag partner.

Kenoh and Sugiura come to the ring first to “When Love Comes To Town”. Contrary to the song, love very much does not come to town, as immediately they show their dislike for the referee, the ring announcer and then President Uchida by menacing them in turn.
President Uchida tells them to go away.

When the team of Mohammed Yone (who is being seconded by Quiet Storm) and Masa Kitamiya hit the ring, the action starts after Yone pulls the disco fever pose and irritates his already riled up opponents (sadly the camera doesn’t show their reaction, but Sugiura is on record saying he doesn’t like disco, and I doubt Kenoh is too fond it either. With the exception of Yone, possibly Quiet Storm and quite possibly Hitoshi Kumano, no one in Noah seems to appreciate Yone’s musical taste), and they attack him. The officials, aside from the ref, leave the ring hurriedly.

After an epic match where Sugiura pinned Kitamiya with the Olympic Slam following Kenoh's footstamp from the rop rope. The new champions demand their belts, and President Uchida reluctantly gets into the ring. Kenoh and Sugiura (standing with their feet on the fallen Kitamiya, despite the referees attempts to remove them), snatch them with Kenoh shoving the belt in his face.

Then the team of Maybach Taniguchi and Naomichi Marufuji appear to challenge the new champions. Marufuji doesn’t let Taniguchi speak. Sugiura waves them off and they leave.
There seems to be microphone problems as Kenoh (who drops it accidentally) starts shrieking loudly and the audio (from some distance from the ring) picks it up, he then gets on the microphone (he’s in too euphoric on winning to scowl), and tells them that they have made a foolish mistake tonight, and they are looking forward to their challenge.

Backstage the poor interviewer is back. Kenoh proudly holds up the belt, and then the interviewer asks Sugiura if he is troubled at all by the challenge just made.
Kenoh stands astonished (he also has a drip of sweat on the end of his nose).
Sugiura has even less time for the interviewer than previously.

“Why?”
There is a pause and he gives him a filthy look.
“Fool”.
After Kenoh and Sugiura have given the interviewer what for, Masa Kitamiya attacks by blindsiding Kenoh and gets beaten down (amidst all the noise, you can hear Kenoh yelling “bastard”) and the tag champs leave.
The interviewer takes this chance to ask Masa Kitamiya for his comment. Well, Kitamiya says he will revenge himself and leaves yelling “assholes”.
