(Noah) Akitoshi Saito and Naomichi Marufuji's joint battle to take the GHC Tag Championship

On the 28th July, Noah's GHC Tag Team Championship was held at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo where Naomichi Marufuji (38) and Akitoshi Saito (52) took the championship from The Aggression, Katsuhiko Nakajima (30) and Masa Kitamiya (29), making them the 45th champions

The champions attacked befote the gong, and they were caught many times in offensives including attacks outside the ring with weapons such as pipe chairs, however, it was the struggle of the veteran, Saito due to Marufuji, who had a concentrated attack on the left knee. He was often forced into a lone battle, but he did not yield. At last Marufuji aimed a kick at Nakajima's face, and this went into a single fight afterwards. Saito used the Death Brand on Kitamiya and took the three count.

In the midst of great cheering at Korakuen Hall, Akitoshi Saito said, "We took the belts! Thank you for coming in the typhoon!" Marufuji, supporting him, said "I have not done anything today" he said proudly holding the belts*
