(Noah) Satoko's Room: Atsushi Kotoge (13th January 2015)

Lets just say right from the start, that Atsushi Kotoge is probably the most animated person they have ever had on this show.

We get the usual opening, the usual music and graphics, and then we see Satoko's pale pink painted lips puckering for the camera before the intro from our host, and then the awful "Talkin' bout your two best friends" song plays over a small blurb.

Atsushi Kotoge, dressed against the January cold in a grey hoodie, starts as he means to go on i.e. as a probably drunk person with a duck mask that makes a duck sound when you talk or sing or make a noise into it. It hangs around his neck on a piece of string, and he makes duck noises throughout the show, as well as a "cockadoodledoo" sound, as well as other noises.
In December 2014, Kotoge became the GHC Junior Heavyweight champion, and was challenged for it by Taiji Ishimori (Kotoge would lose it to Taichi, who in turn would lose it to Ishimori), but he doesn't bring the belt with him. He brings a duck mask with him, but not the belt.
Whereas Ishimori (who is the next guest) is a fidget, Kotoge will give you seasickness. He's like a tornado as he never seems to stop moving, he gesticulates a lot of the time, four minutes into the show.  He also has this habit of running his hands through his hair, which makes it stick up, Satoko attempts to smooth a bit down at one point, but it doesn't work.

Atsushi Kotoge's ring entry taunt (where he looks as if he is pulling back the string on a bow) is possibly explained. While I have no idea what the mannerism symbolizes, from what I can tell it means something like "it's awesome" (but that is only a rough guess at the translation).

Most guests on the show are served food and drink. Hajime Ohara (although not good with alcohol) was given some whisky (plus some larvae which sent him into a squealing ball), Kenoh was served food but no sold Satoko when she tried to personally serve it to him, and nineteen year old Kaito Kiyomiya was given Orangeina - and so the already unhinged Atsushi Kotoge is served a shot of gin with lemon on the side.

The guests in the background ask the wrestlers questions, and while most nod and answer (Kiyomiya was nervous and so was drowned out by the noise as he spoke softly), Kotoge's method is to point at the camera while he speaks.
Satoko proposes they take a selfie, and so the selfie stick comes out, the picture is taken...and the phone falls off the stick! Fortunately it is not damaged.

The next drink that is served is mercifully (as Kotoge seems drunk enough, although he does tend to slur his words) is a new fruit drink that is made at the restaurant. Two of the ingredients are green avocado and grapefruit.

The usual match history is read out, and a picture of the roster in 2015 is shown. Comparing it to 2018, the majority of people are still there (minus Taiji Ishimori, who is referred to as either "Taiji" or "Ishi", and The Mighty Don't Kneel), during this we see that red glasses have been drawn on Kotoge's picture (they do this to all the guests in some way, Kiyomiya had his head put on other wrestlers bodies, Hajime Ohara had glasses and Kenoh...well, no one dared to it to him).

So when they were reading out the match history (and he got a round of applause the first time Osaka was mentioned as it is his home town), Kotoge stood up and gesticulating wildly at the camera, he tells the audience that the name of his finisher "Killswitch" came from his love of motorbikes (its a safety feature that shuts down the motorcycle). I think his parents might have run a motorcycle repair shop. Then something unintentionally (and probably could only happen to Kotoge) happened, he sat down and the camera failed to follow him for a few seconds.

So approaching the end of the show (and after Satoko has come out of the corner where she has been hiding from Kotoge), the next guest for the next episode is announced.
Its Taiji Ishimori.
Kotoge boos him and gives him the thumbs down.
Then its time to say goodbye, which is done in typically frenetic fashion.
