Noah's former GHC Heavyweight champion, Kenoh (33) has pledged to take the GHC Heavyweight Tag Belt from Naomichi Marufuji (38) and Akitoshi Saito, who hold the belts.

At Korakuen Hall in Tokyo on the 5th August in an eight man tag match, Saito was felled by the intense kick from Kenoh, and pinned after the diving foot stomp.
The veterans had taken the belt on July 28th at Korakuen, Kenoh was of the opinion that "its funny that you guys have a belt. Is that exciting? That is my role to fulfill!" His challenge was also expressed by Kaito Kiyomiya (22).

Kenoh lost the GHC Heavyweight belt to Takashi Sugiura (48), who took the belt from him in March, both belts are now with the veterans.
"There is no choice but to admit that the momentum belongs to them, the beginning of it is my responsibility. I will take that responsibility seriously, and end this conflict"
After losing the single championship, he is aiming to re-emerge on the tag front.
