(NOAH) Event recap ~ 13th October 2018, Shimada City General Sports Centre, Shizuoka

Kenoh was on autograph duty today, and given what happened during the match, its probably best that fans caught him in a good mood beforehand.
Speaking of merchandise, Noah will be selling the kids "Revolutionary Capes" via mail order, so there is no need for your kids to make the long trek to a non local arena, but get them quick as they are being sold in limited numbers.

No shoes were allowed at the venue today (bar that of the wrestlers and the Noah ring staff that is), so people were asked to bring a shoe bag and indoor slippers.

Good attendance, people remarked that for a Saturday evening the start time of 5pm was ideal as it meant they were home by about 7pm, a bonus especially when you have young children or you have to work tomorrow.

MATCH ONE
Tadasuke vs Junta Miyawaki

Match time was only fifteen minutes, but the match didn't go that long.
Tadasuke was seconded by HAYATA (with heavy eyeliner) & Daisuke Harada (which means surprisingly that HAYATA went somewhere without YO-HEY)

Tadasuke it appears has a new finisher. Its name doesn't translate well as its more of an action, but I think he was probably inspired by a weapon in Naurto.

WINNER: Tadasuke with the Jidanda Lariat (6 minutes and 52 seconds)

MATCH TWO
HI69 vs Hitoshi Kumano vs Masao Inoue

Old man warm up from Inoue, and got held in both a foot lock and a neck lock at the same time by Hi69 and Hitoshi Kumano, someone called it "Old Man Hunting".

WINNER: Hi69 with the pin on Masao Inoue (8 minutes and 54 seconds)

MATCH THREE
Masa Kitamiya & Minoru Tanaka vs Quiet Storm & Yoshiki Inamura

WINNER: Masa Kitamiya with the Prison Lock on Yoshiki Inamura (11 minutes and 47 seconds)

MATCH FOUR
"Voyage for Global League" (pre-match)
Katsuhiko Nakajima, Atsushi Kotoge & Hajime Ohara vs Kenoh, Kaito Kiyomiya & HAYATA

"Personally, I like this combination"

Referee Nishinaga trying not to laugh at Atsushi Kotoge (who today caught his cloak again on the rail, although it wasn't broken), and then this got worse when Hajime Ohara very politely folded up the cloak and put it aside. There is ongoing concern about Ohara's neck, which has been an issue since Global Junior Tag League.

Katsuhiko Nakajima smirked at Kenoh today after kicking him, and you can imagine how well Kenoh took that, especially when the brawl went outside.

Kaito Kiyomiya debuted a new move which he used to win (chicken wing face-lock) addressed the crowd afterwards with a typically polite comment, "Thank you for coming today! Global League starts on the 30th October at Korakuen Hall! I will aim for the championship, please continue to support me!"

WINNER: Kaito Kiyomiya with the chicken wing face lock on Hajime Ohara (15 minutes and 8 seconds)

MATCH 5
Takashi Sugiura, Daisuke Harada & YO-HEY vs Go Shiozaki, Yoshinari Ogawa & Suzuki Kotaro

Yoshinari Ogawa has taken to wearing a denim jacket to the ring (he used to wear sinister leather ones).

Takashi Sugiura and Go Shiozaki trading machine gun chops, Shiozaki would do them and get grabbed and spun around by Sugiura who would do the same to him.

YO-HEY won with a move that Noah have called "Yaw", I'm not exactly sure what this is, but the best way I can describe it as some kind of vertical move as for something to "yaw" is like when a ship is rolling at sea or when a plane dips a wing.

After the win a melee fight broke out between Harada and Suzuki, and Shiozaki and Sugiura.

WINNER: Yo-hey with the Yaw (vertical axis move) Yoshinari Ogawa (18 minutes and 33 seconds)

MATCH 6
Naomichi Marufuji, Akitoshi Saito & Mohammed Yone vs Mitsuya Nagai, Cody Hall & Maybach Taniguchi

"Tomorrow is the GHC Tag match. Noah will have new champions...Marufuji, we are going to whip you!"
Mitsuya Nagai

Usual sneaky behavior from The Hooligans with a melee fight breaking out before the bell even rang.
Problem is that there is only Marufuji and Saito (not that Nagai really cares about Saito as he hasn't called him an "bald octopus", he just has something that Nagai wants which Marufuji, his real target, also has), and there are four of The Hooligans.

At the end of the match when the ref counted three, Nagai got down and counted with him, hand slapping the mat and all.

The title match is tomorrow (14th October) in Kobe

WINNER: Maybach Taniguchi with the Hooligan bomb on Mohammed Yone (18 minutes and seven seconds)

ATTENDANCE: 304 people (full house)

With thanks to: Taichi, Shinya, Kochira Shizuoka, Susu, Noah GHC
