As Global League began, Kenoh, last years wiiner, was defeated by Kohei Sato from Zero-One, and earned a black star.
Although Kenoh's physique excelled, he was rendered inferior by blows such as Sato's kick. Still, he fought with a good high kick, and gradually got into a rhythm. However, after ten minutes, he was bleeding from his head due to headbutts from Sato. Sato took advantage of the damage, and completely defeated him with a German Suplex Hold.

After the match, Kenoh said in frustration, "Sato, that was messed up, wasn't it? I will return the debt after the tournament is over. It will not end like this."
