"Gōwan", Go Shiozaki (36) has undergone a big transformation.
The leader in B Block in "Global League", Go Shiozaki has eight points and approaches the final step towards the championship on the 25th November at Korakuen Hall.

He gained momentum by breaking the GHC Heavyweight Champion, Takashi Sugiura (48) in the opening match on October 30th; the defeat in the summer was a trigger for the swift change.

Shiozaki challenged the GHC Champion Sugiura at Kawasaki on the 18th August. Though he refused to speak on the challenge and concentrated on the fierce battle, he was defeated. It was the match that made the decisive decision, and it was a crossroads at the end of it.
"I could not take the belt because there was something missing, when I thought about it, I wondered if it was possible to widen the range. There are people who like wrestling of all types, men and women, large promotions and small ones. They do it with passion, and I noticed that fact."

Soon enough, the opportunity came. The first battle against a woman pro-wrestler in September; SeeDLings "Extreme" Nanao Takahashi (39). He won the match with a merciless inverse horizontal chop.
It became a big stimulus.
Looking back with a smile he says, "She always says she has "passion", and I feel like I caught it".

"Criticism? Even now there are people who say that I am just a copy of Kenta Kobashi. I am used to it. I think that if you go your own way, you will reach the hearts of those who criticize you through your opponents chest".

This spirit led to participation in other promotions, "D King Grand Prix" in DDT (March 30th in Shinjuku Face, Tokyo), was the first participation.
"We are continuing the innovation of original attempts that major groups cannot do, and the results have led to the ability to attract customers. There are many good wrestlers, and many things to learn. I have a chance to win Global League, and I want to carry the poster of the championship."

At the Sendai event on the 22nd, he fought against Sugiura in the tag, and overwhelmed the champion with good chops. He will then turn his spirit towards Mohammed Yone on the 23rd at Yokohama Radiant Hall.

Just like a rush ball pitcher who leaps to learn twists and slides, it is a fact that they have increased their drawing power.
