Former professional wrestler, Takashi Morishima (40), who was arrested on suspicion of assault in KabukichÅ, Tokyo on November 4th, after hitting a taxi driver in the face.
He had come to the "Stanley Bar", an establishment run by professional wrestler, Naoshi Sano (39), in KabukichÅ. At around 8.30pm he appeared and asked the manager of the store, Eri Misaki (44), if Mr. Sano was here?
Misaki told him that he was not here today, and Morishima murmured "I thought that I could borrow 5000 yen", and he sat in the store, tweeting quietly, while Misaki was cleaning the bar. As Morishima sat there, he ate sweets and kept saying to Misaki, "I am a professional wrestler, and you can sweep the shop", he was also playing with the mail that had been delivered to the bar.
Morishima left at about 8:45 saying, that he had some candy (about 2 or 3 pieces) and would come back later with his friends.
Morishima stated that he was not drunk at the time, but Misaki says that he did seem that way. He had seen him in "nearby Golden Street during the day, and I have never seen him sober. He is infamous for being a bad drunk." He recalls that on October 28th, Morishima asked for a drink, but he only had 1400 yen (note, its having about $12 or £10). It was the time when the last train had left, and he wondered how he was going to get home without any money.
Misaki rolled up his sleeve and showed his right arm and showed a bruise on his arm when Morishima had grabbed it while drunk, "I think those who do fighting sports, do not understand their own power when they are intoxicated."
