(NOAH) EVENT RECAP: Winter Navigation FINAL NIGHT ~ 14th December 2018, Sendai PIT

Last day of the tour of the year in a cold snowy Sendai. Noah have not had a good turnout for this tour, and the attendance for the last day of the last tour of the year was disappointing. Discounting the wacky NOAHful Gift, Noah have one final event on the 16th at "Great Voyage in Yokohama Vol.2", where all the titles will be on the line. 

Elsewhere, IPW have announced that YO-HEY will be coming to England in January 2018 (along with Daisuke Harada and hopefully another couple of names to be announced) to compete in their Junior Heavyweight Tournament (YO-HEY, being YO-HEY, says he wants to meet Mr. Bean. I'd imagine that they would get on well.)

Go Shiozaki was missing from the event today as he is competing in DDT.

Kaito Kiyomiya was on autograph duty.

MATCH ONE
YO-HEY & HAYATA vs Yoshiki Inamura & Kinya Okada

Unsurprisingly, Kinya Okada & Yoshiki Inamura (who has a taped knee) were no match for YO-HEY & HAYATA.

WINNER: YO-HEY with the camel clutch on Yoshiki Inamura (9 minutes and 41 seconds)

MATCH TWO
Yoshinari Ogawa & Masao Inoue vs Mitsuya Nagai & Tsuyoshi Kikuchi

Tsuyoshi Kikuchi came out in a Santa Hat, which was disturbing on many levels. Previously, Mitsuya Nagai had said he was going to leave Kikuchi to deal with the other seniors, but when it came to it, Nagai helped the crazy old man out (the "crazy" was apparently beaten into him by Stan Hansen), and had to be pulled off Inoue by the ref when applying the submission move.

WINNER: Mitsuya Nagai with the stretch plum on Masao Inoue (10 minutes and 42 seconds)

MATCH THREE
Hi9, Minoru Tanaka & Junta Miyawaki vs Hajime Ohara, Hitoshi Kumano and Lin Dong-Xuan

Hitoshi Kumano started by attacking Minoru Tanaka, and the belt was knocked to the floor outside the ring.
Kumano is one strong little bear, lifting the 209lb Hi69 into the Argentine Backbreaker and later Junta Miyawaki for the win.

Kumano and Tanaka squared up afterwards (Ohara doesn't really get into situations where he does this or brawls backstage or has to be held back, Kumano is more the muscle when it comes to this)

WINNER: Hitoshi Kumano with the Argentine Backbreaker on Junta Miyawaki (11 minutes)

MATCH FOUR
50 Funky Powers (Mohammed Yone & Quiet Storm) vs Masa Kitamiya & Tadasuke

Mohammed Yone has started to use more submission moves than he did before on people. Never anything like a high-flyer or anything, this will be interesting to see if Yone does more of this in 2019.

WINNER: Mohammed Yone with the Funky Buster Bomb on Tadasuke (10 minutes and 38 seconds)

MATCH FIVE
Katsuhiko Nakajima & Atsushi Kotoge vs The Hooligans (Maybach Taniguchi & Cody Hall)

The Sasumata was bought back out by Maybach Taniguchi. He and Katsuhiko Nakajima (with the absence of their tag partners today) squared up and stared at each other. Usual Hooligans antics, such as Referee Nishinaga pushed down, Maybach with Sasumata, Nagai with chains choking Nakajima and usual brawl outside ring using chairs.

WINNER: Maybach Taniguchi with the Maybach Bomb (11 minutes and 47 seconds)

MATCH SIX
Takashi Sugiura, Akitoshi Saito & Kotaro Suzuki vs Kaito Kiyomiya, Kenoh & Daisuke Harada

Daisuke Harada and Kotaro Suzuki started off the match by tearing into each other, and Takashi Sugiura was just as unrelenting on Kaito Kiyomiya.

Afterwards, Kiyomiya told the audience, "I want to defeat Sugiura. I want to take you to a new era! Noah's new face will be me!"

It should be noted that on this tour, none of the champions or their challengers have directly beaten each other.

WINNER: Kaito Kiyomiya with the Tiger Suplex on Akitoshi Saito (17 minutes and 34 seconds)
