(NOAH) Winter Navigation Night One ~ 7th December 2018, Korakuen Hall

As per Korakuen Hall, Noah held an event for the Noah's Ark Fanclub members with the highly photogenic HAYATA posing for pictures.
Remember.
No matter how good you look in pictures, you will never ever look better than him.

They also held the match signing for the two GHC title matches of the GHC Junior, Daisuke Harada vs Kotaro Suzuki and the GHC Heavyweight, Kaito Kiyomiya vs  Takashi Sugiura

KIYOMIYA: I want to surpass this generation, that is the significance of the win. At Yokohama, I will have the victory.
SUGIURA: My thoughts on Noah, my thoughts on the GHC, are that I will not lose to anyone. I will not yield age or the belt, to this young man.

Kaito Kiyomiya was also on autograph duty at the merchandise booth where new Yoshinari Ogawa portrait photographs were on sale in limited form.

Not a good turn out today, but not bad when you consider it is a Friday after work, and there was a big event on at the Tokyo Dome which caused transit problems.

At the break Hajime Ohara came out when Okada was tightening the ropes, and was seen to be talking to him, and Noah played RAN videos.

Afterwards, the roster handed out confectionery.

Today's show will air on the 15th December on Samurai TV

MATCH ONE
*Kimiya Okada's Debut*
Yoshiki Inamura vs Kimiya Okada

This was only a 15 minute match which didn't go that long.
Naomichi Marufuji (who was in the arena today, but seems to have stayed backstage) said about Okada that he has quietly suffered a lot of things since his debut was delayed in August due to injury.

Today Okada had white streamers, and came out to the Noah GHC music. He had been trained for his debut by, Hajime Ohara, who was seen to be watching his student. The match turned out to be somewhat technical, and you can sense Ohara's influence in this.

Somewhat rarely for someone who has just debuted four months ago, Inamura picked up his first win. It will be recorded as his first, and it is before Miyawaki, BUT, it was against a debuting rookie, and while it will probably set the scene for a feud between the two (who are practically twins both being born in the same year, same months and with only a day between them or so), Noah aren't going to be pushing him up the card or in title matches; he's still very green.

They shook hands at the end, and Okada bowed to the crowd.

WINNER: Yoshiki Inamura with the Boston Crab (9 minutes and 7 seconds)

MATCH TWO
Round one of the GHC Heavyweight Tag Team Tournament
Kenoh & Masa Kitamiya vs 50 Funky Powers (Mohammed Yone & Quiet Storm)

Good teamwork from Kenoh and Kitamiya, and they shook hands afterwards.

WINNER: Masa Kitamiya with the Saito Suplex on Quiet Storm (12 minutes and 44 seconds)

MATCH THREE
Round one of the GHC Heavyweight Tag Team Tournament
Katsuhiko Nakajima & Go Shiozaki vs Cody Hall & Maybach Taniguchi

Nakajima and Shiozaki entered to a combined theme of their theme music.

Just like his days in the "Super Violent Army" the pole Taniguchi is carrying (which he once tried to play tennis with) is called a "Sasumata".  It is a weapon used by the samurai class and their retainers in feudal Japan to pin enemies\criminals down to either the floor or the wall, which he did to Nakajima, and then he used it to throw Shiozaki from the top turnbuckle.
Unsurprisingly the ref stopped the match.

WINNER: Go Shiozaki and Katsuhiko Nakajima via DQ when Taniguchi attacked with a weapon (8 minutes and 25 seconds)

MATCH FOUR
Yoshinari Ogawa & Hitoshi Yamato vs Atsushi Kotoge & Masao Inoue

A fun match with Yamato imitating Kotoge (who was wearing an elaborately collared cloak which for thrown into the crowd), MASAO WORLD was also on form.
The interactions between Yamato and Kotoge was very funny, and it helped lighten the mood from the earlier matches.

Somewhat unusually, Yoshinari Ogawa shook hands with Yamato at the end of the match (Ogawa doesn't often do this).

WINNER: Hitoshi Yamato with the Fisherman's Suplex on Masao Inoue (9 minutes and 54 seconds)

MATCH FIVE

Hi69, Seiya Morohashi & Junta Miyawaki vs Hajime Ohara, Hitoshi Kumano & Lín Dòng Xuān

The grudge between Hitoshi Kumano and Seiya Moriwaki continued with intense fighting between the two. Miyawaki stood up to Ohara (and Ohara looked surprised when Miyawaki threw him to the floor), but ultimately, he could not stand up to the Muy Bien.

WINNER: Hajime Ohara with the Muy Bien on Junta Miyawaki (7 minutes and 37 seconds)

MATCH SIX
Akitoshi Saito, Kouki Iwasaki & Chang Yufeng vs Mitsuya Nagai, KAZMA SAKAMOTO &
"Hey! I have prepared an early little gift for you, the new member of The Hooligans, Yuji Hino!"
(Mitsuya Nagai)

The Hooligans fight went into the crowd, with Korakuen screaming and moving around (like at school when the teacher steps out of the room for a few minutes and the class cuts loose).

Hino is a beast of 5'10 and 243 lb, who has a bullying style, who struck a huge powerbomb on Saito, he basically picked up a man of 5'10 and 105 kg and threw him.

WINNER: Yuji Hino with the fucking bomb on Akitoshi Saito (4 minutes and 46 seconds)

MATCH SEVEN
HAYATA, YO-HEY & TADASUKE vs SUGI, Shoki Kitamura & Tatsuhito Takaiwa

YO-HEY started things off by provoking Takaiwa with "come out, baldie!" (one wonders whether YO-HEY will regret this if RATELS break up and Harada has to shave his head on the 16th December).

SUGI was said to be very impressive (he hasn't been in Noah before, only in their offshoot, SEM, years ago teaming with a young Katsuhiko Nakajima against KENTA)

It is hard to write up this match as so much went on it that needs to be seen, but it was said that RATELS worked well together, and in the words of one fan, "please do not break this group up".

After the match, YO-HEY got on the microphone and started babbling on in his own incoherent way, said something about Santa and said that he wasn't finished with this yet, and wanted to take it further. SUGI (not so good on the microphone it was said) said he couldn't come to Yokohama on the 16th as there is a ZERO-ONE show.
Something will probably be re-arranged for the New Year.

WINNER: YO-HEY with the Super Face G on Shoki Kitamura (13 minutes and 32 seconds)

MATCH EIGHT
GHC Heavyweight Tag Team Championship
Go Shiozaki & Katsuhiko Nakajima Vs Kenoh & Masa Kitamiya

"New generation match up"

The old Aggression started, tearing into each other, and Nakajima smirking
Nakajima vs Kenoh kick battle and Shiozaki vs Kenoh, chop kick battle.
The match belonged Masa Kitamiya, said to be outstanding today.

WINNER: Go Shiozaki with the lariat on Masa Kitamiya (20 minutes and 22 seconds)

President Uchida awarded them with the belts when The Hooligans appeared and got in the ring, and Yuji Hino and Maybach Taniguchi challenged for the GHC Heavyweight Tag championship.

Yuji Hino had this to say...and it is the type of trash talking you don't get in Noah;

"Shiozaki, you are a handsome man, but your chops mean nothing. Nakajima-kun! Growing up! You are becoming an adult. You look like you've graduated from being a virgin. Because the semi was a great match, let me challenge for you for the belts."

Taniguchi also spoke (which is rare), to say he would challenge with Hino.
Shiozaki accepted their challenge.

MATCH NINE
Takashi Sugiura & Kotaro Suzuki vs Kaito Kiyomiya & Daisuke Harada

It is rare to see Daisuke Harada vs Takashi Sugiura, but the main focus of the match today was the two heavyweights, although Suzuki did trample Kiyomiya (Suzuki is old enough to be his father) and Sugi attacked Kiyomiya with elbow strikes, slaps, knees to the face and finally the front neck lock from qualifying slam.

Afterwards, Sugiura had this to say to Kiyomiya:

"Hey! "Noah's future! What? Did you lose easily? Everyone has expectations for you! On December 16th at Yokohama I will show you the difference between Noah's future and the man who has supported Noah for 18 years!"

WINNER: Referee stop due to Takashi Sugiura's front neck lock on Kaito Kiyomiya (20 minutes and 41 seconds)
