(NOAH) EVENT RECAP: Winter Navigation Night Three ~ 12th December 2018, New Sunpia Tochigi
Thanks to Nacky-san, I have managed to get some information about what happened at today's Noah show.
Noah drew 192 people to New Sunpia Tochigi (a small arena which is more of a gymnasium, and hardly Korakuen Hall), and of course winter is rolling in. YO-HEY said that the first snow started falling while at the service station stop afterwards, and some areas in Japan have already seen snowfall.
The card was changed today due to injury to Chang Jiang Feng
Go Shiozaki was on autograph duty
NOTES FROM THE SHOW
~ Noah held the GHC Junior Tag signing between Minoru Tanaka and Hi69 and The Backbreakers (Hajime Ohara and Hitoshi Kumano). There was a tense mood between the two teams, and at the photo session afterwards, Tanaka and Kumano squared up.
~ Yoshiki Inamura and Kinya Okada continued building their feud, which will erupt into the heavyweight division one day on a bigger stage. Noah are preparing this for the future.
~ Due to injury to Chang Jiang Feng, Lin Dong-Xuan had his first singles match in Noah
~ Third match turned into a junior vs heavyweight showdown.
~ Minoru Tanaka and Hi69 trying to wind up Hajime Ohara (who unlike Kumano, doesn't get wound up easily)
~ Usual Hooligans fight in the crowd.
~ Atsushi Kotoge's cloak became damaged (and Hitoshi Kumano took a secret picture of him sitting and repairing it). The best was the picture of his celebrating with Go Shiozaki and Katsuhiko Nakajima after it, as he looked like a small child jumping up and down, Shiozaki naturally had his patient face on with him.
~ Maybach Taniguchi bought his Sasumata pole out again and pinned Shiozaki down as Nakajima was battered
~ After The Hooligans had left the ring, Atsushi Kotoge picked up their flag for him. I doubt he will be joining them; Nagai collects monsters, not lunatics.
~ This is the first time Tadasuke and Takashi Sugiura met in a Noah ring, Tadasuke's lariat went down well with the crowd ("amazing power" according to Nacky-san)
~ Frustrating for Kiyomiya that he did not get the win, and Sugiura told him on the microphone he needs to bring his energy to the match.
