(NOAH) HAYATA - COSTUME RESEARCH

HAYATA BIO

Originally HAYATA'S costume was long trousers past both knees, in the Osaka Wrestling era, it became "half leg and half pants". His reason is that "it's fun to have right and left". There is no particular thought behind it, its just because wants to differentiate from other wrestlers.

He would change the color according to whatever unit he belonged at the time, but the style remained the same.
Originally, because he had thin legs, he made the costume thick. He says with a wry smile that he made it too thick, and it was sometimes too difficult to move, but he "does not feel like changing it now. I have not changed it for more than a year."

His hair is always dyed.
What HAYATA says doesn't translate well, but his hair, naturally being dyed and bleached so much is fragile (which probably explains why YO-HEY has cut his short), but HAYATA has no plans to let it go back to being black, and when he does wear make up, it is inspired by Kanjyuro Matsuyama.

There is a story involving Tadasuke (working a heel gimmick as "Tadanosuke Matsuyama"), who had no eyebrows at the time, which hasn't translated well, but it looks like HAYATA got rid of his and then was persuaded to let them grow back.

His overall image is, "mysterious".

INTRO
Currently in Noah, HAYATA has been in a whirlwind. After shaking hands with YO-HEY, he decided to leave RATELS and join with Kotaro Suzuki and Yoshinari Ogawa.
This is the HAYATA that appeared in this weeks costume research. He doesn't talk much in the ring, but talked animatedly about his costume.

LEGS
HAYATA talked about his costume that is raised above the left knee down to the foot. He has worn it this way since before entering Osaka Pro.

RING SHOES
Although he wore ring shoes when he debuted, he said he kept changing them as he found them hard to move in.
Since he is an experienced basketball player, he chose "Bass". HAYATA says he has always liked NIKE, but recently the mesh on the shoes hasn't been so good. GENTARO once caught it with his foot and tore a bit off.

JACKET
HAYATA entered by wearing a jacket made by a friend, each

winter he would wear something different, but he has not changed it in recent years.

FACE
During the Osaka wrestling era in "JOKER", he would enter wearing a bandana as it made him look like a bad guy. Although he co-ordinates this with YO-HEY, he did it first for himself.
He also uses colored contact lenses and stage paint in the ring to add to the aura of being "mysterious".
