(NOAH) Event recap ~ Osaka World Pavilion (19th March, "Spring Navigation 2019" ~ Night Three)
Although the venue was dark (its normally used as a theater, although promotions do often use it), hence the lack of windows, skylights etc, people commented that the lighting on the white mat made it look brighter than usual.
There was, no sign of local nut, Atsushi Kotoge today, but the other (saner) local boy, Daisuke Harada was on autograph duty.
MATCH ONE
Masao Inoue & Junta Miyawaki vs Hitoshi Kumano & Kinya Okada
WINNER: Hitoshi Kumano with the Genba Hirayanagi on Junta Miyawaki (10 minutes and 27 seconds)
HAYATA & Tadasuke vs KAZMA SAKAMOTO & NOSAWA Rongai
Local boy Daisuke Harada came out to second RATELS.
Tadasuke offered HAYATA his hand, and naturally, HAYATA being HAYATA, he stared at it for a moment before taking it (it was always YO-HEY who he had no problems shaking hands with).
WINNER: HAYATA with the moonsault on NOSAWA Rongai (9 minutes and 41 seconds)
MATCH THREE
Stinger (YO-HEY & Yoshinari Ogawa) vs Hi69 & Minoru Tanaka
Poor Ogawa. Being chopped by Naomichi Marufuji at Hakata Starlane meant that he came to the ring today with a bruise in which you could see long splayed fingerprints forming (he wasn't the only one who bore the marks of a stiff match in Hakata Stalene, Takashi Sugiura's chest was spotted like old paper and just as fragile as he started bleeding).
The match finished with Hi69 doing the Stuka Splash on Yoshinari Ogawa. Ogawa (who may well have been selling the move to make a point, given the fact that Kotaro Suzuki had implied that Hi69 was too heavy to challenge for the Junior Heavyweight tag, as the limit is 100kg and Hi69 is 102), seemed to be somewhat struggling after the match, which caused the second to get into the ring, while YO-HEY looked on in concern.
Ogawa seemed to be well enough eventually, however, to leave the ring unaided.
WINNER: Hi69 with the Stuka Splash on Yoshinari Ogawa (18 minutes and 17 seconds)
Takashi Sugiura vs Maybach Taniguchi
This was a rare singles match between Takashi Sugiura and Maybach Taniguchi (their last match was in April 2017), and Taniguchi being Taniguchi (and still in Monster of The Hooligans mode) bought his Sasumata to the ring and used it as a weapon on Sugiura to choke him.
After the short but intense match, Taniguchi attacked the referee again.
WINNER: Takashi Sugiura with the Olympic Slam (10 minutes and 2 seconds)
MATCH FIVE
Naomichi Marufuji & AXIZ (Katsuhiko Nakajima & Go Shiozaki) vs Akitoshi Saito, Masa Kitamiya & Yoshiki Inamura
Naturally, this was not an easy teaming for Naomichi Marufuji, as he was tagging with AXIZ (who are of the "mid-generation" of Noah, and therefore are opposed to him as he is a senior), and according to one attendee today there was a "subtle sense of distance between AXIZ and Marufuji before the match".
Young Yoshiki Inamura got the brunt of what the other team dished out (kicks and chops) in this match being the rookie, and Nakajima and Kitamiya tore into each other.
And then kicked him in the head.
Then Go Shiozaki joined in, and lariated him
WINNER: Go Shiozaki with the lariat on Yoshiki Inamura (16 minutes and 55 seconds)
Kaito Kiyomiya, Kenoh & Daisuke Harada vs 50 Funky Powers (Mohammed Yone & Quiet Storm) & Hajime Ohara
"We don't need words. We are facing the same direction, so we work together smoothly"

They might not have "needed words", but there was evidently a conversation in the ring between Kenoh and Kiyomiya today that amused Kenoh, as he was seen to be smiling.
At the end of the match, Kenoh spoke on the microphone about how he and Kiyomiya would win Global Tag League, and show everyone a Noah that they had never seen before.
WINNER: Kaito Kiyomiya with the Tiger Suplex on Hajime Ohara (14 minutes and 36 seconds)
