(NOAH) Event recap ~ Shimizu Marine Building, (Sunday March 3rd 2019, "Navigation For The Progress", FINAL NIGHT)

"The wrestlers, the staff, the fans...the green ring and the logo are full of memories for everyone"

Outside of the two Misawa memorial shows each June, this will be the last time Noah will ever use the green ring on a regular basis. Due to the changes in the company, and to symbolize the fact that the logo will also change, the Noah trucks covered up the logo during the event today by hanging wrestler banners over them. During the intermission, fan club members had the chance to take pictures in the ring for the last time.

I am afraid I don't have too much information coming out of today's show, but I have managed to put together what I have been able to.

MATCH ONE
Yoshinari Ogawa & Kotaro Suzuki vs Tadasuke and Kinya Okada.

Yoshinari Ogawa came out wearing his round lens sunglasses (which make him look sinister).
Tadasuke and Kimya Okada did Tadasuke's entry (I don't think Okada could pull off the headbanging though, so he didn't do it, and the air guitar too).

Tadasuke acted like a proud dad after Kinya Okada got the win, and had a big grin on his face as if looking to say "well, how about that?"
Okada looked smug.

WINNER: Kinya Okada with a double lariat on Yoshinari Ogawa and Kotaro Suzuki resulting in a count out (8 minutes and 54 seconds)

MATCH TWO
SEVEN MATCH SERIES
Yoshiki Inamura vs Akitoshi Saito

Said to be a "hard fought battle", but ultimately, Akitoshi Saito prevailed.

WINNER: Akitoshi Saito with a backdrop (8 minutes and 16 seconds)

MATCH THREE
Kenoh & YO-HEY vs The Backbreakers

YO-HEY imitated Kenoh's pose and then did it at the end too, turning to all four corners of the ring, after Kenoh had stamped off after the match.

WINNER: Kenoh with the diving footstamp on Hitoshi Kumano (9 minutes and 39 seconds)

MATCH FOUR
Takashi Sugiura & 50 Funky Powers (Mohammed Yone & Quiet Storm) vs Maybach Taniguchi, Masao Inoue and Junta Miyawaki.

Although being on opposing teams, Sugi appeared to have been telling Inoue to hurry up, especially when he was waiting for Yone to get up so he could lariat him.
After the match Sugi attacked Inoue, and I think the ref may have had to pull him off of him.
So much for gratitude.

WINNER: Mohammed Yone with the Funky Buster bomb on Masao Inoue (13 minutes and 18 seconds)

MATCH FIVE
AXIZ (Katsuhiko Nakajima & Go Shiozaki) vs Masa Kitamiya & Mitsuya Nagai.

Not really too much information coming out of this one, except that Nagai attacked Shiozaki with the iron barrier.

WINNER: Go Shiozaki with the lariat on Mitsuya Nagai (16 minutes)

MATCH SIX
Kaito Kiyomiya, Daisuke Harada & HAYATA vs Naomichi Marufuji, Minoru Tanaka & Hi69

The final match on the green mat
Marufuji marked which arm and leg he was going to attack of Kiyomiya's today by hitting the arm, and kicking the leg

After the match, Kaito Kiyomiya (who was the last person to win on the green mat) made a somewhat uninspired speech, saying that on the 10th March there will be a new Noah, he wants to beat Marufuji in Yokohama, and show everyone a new scene.

WINNER: Kaito Kiyomiya with a variant of the chicken wing facelock on Hi69 (20 minutes)

Attendance: 301 (full house)

Those endless days, those sacred days you gave me.
I'm thinking of the days,
