(NOAH) GHC Heavyweight Champion, "ballerina training" with former Takarazuka
Note: "Takarazuka" is the name given to a famous singing and acting troupe in Japan that consists entirely of women, who play the roles of both sexes.
On the 26th March, Noah's GHC Heavyweight champion, Kaito Kiyomiya (22) undertook "special ballerina training" with former Takarazuka in Tokyo.
Kazumi Satoshi (36), who was from the Takatazuka Opera Company, and now currently independent, worked on remodeling the body. The effect has been enormous, and in the best condition, Kaito Kiyomiya will take part in "Global Tag League (which opens on April 6th in Osaka).
"What is this? It is amazing! My body has changed and become so supple!" said Kiyomiya, who undertook training for two hours without a break, as he smiled like a young boy.
He did the front posture where the fingertips touched the floor, as the palm of the hand flopped down and the neck went between the legs. The hip joint expended its range of motion until it could rotate almost to 360 degrees. There was a positioning of each part, the pelvic hip, the torso, the acromioclavicular joint, each was re-positioned and returned to the correct balance.
On one seemingly simple looking stretch, the champion screamed "ouch", and because he is of big build, there was also a scene of the female staff having to assist him.
After 30 minutes, there was a clear change in the movement of his body. Kiyomiya, who was sweating, became quiet and his expression was full of conviction and strength. His knees reached the waist, and he almost reached the floor with the splits.
Training finally finished with a ballerina's pose led by Kazumi, who had been studying classical ballet from 3 years old*.
Kazumi left the troupe in 2006, and became a coach after gaining professional certification said, "returning the pelvis and the hip joints to their original position improves performance. I thought his physical ability, and the speed at which he understood was truly amazing." She also gave advice that, as the muscles will retract after 30 minutes, "the stretching should be done 30 minutes before the match."
Kiyomiya said with a smile, "the hip joint has changed dramatically...even my dropkicks will be transformed into something that is flexible and beautiful. Because I aim for pro-wrestling which is filled with aesthetics. I will stretch 30 minutes before the match."

*The same age as Kenoh, who started Nippon Kempo at that age. Three years old is the traditional age in Japan for children who start learning any kind of sport or art (the daughters of Geisha are probably the best known for starting their training at this age).
