The Green Guide to the Pro Wrestling Noah Roster (March 2019)

Introduction
Hello and welcome to "The Green Guide to the Pro Wrestling Noah Roster (March 2019)".
I hope this guide will give newer fans an idea of who is who and who does what and who came from where, and for the older fans it may either serve as a refresher, an update should they be coming back to Noah after a period of time and may not recognize new faces, or just as a simple read.

I want to concentrate more on who is who on the roster, so I have left out any mention of current feuds or past or present title holders.

I have also left out people who have made an appearances in Noah, but are not part of the regular roster (i.e. Yuji Hino, Shiro Koshinaka), but kept in the regular freelancers.

AKITOSHI SAITO
"Wild Cat Heart"

DATE OF BIRTH: 8th August 1965
PLACE OF BIRTH: Sendai, Miyagi
SPORTS BACKGROUND: Swimming, Karate
CATEGORY: Heavyweight
LIKES: Cars, swimming, drinking

FINISHERS & SPECIAL MOVES: Deathbrand, Suicludees

Veteran wrestler (best known for being in W*NG and New Japan in the early nineties), who has been with the company since 2000, although he wasn't part of the mass walkout from All Japan.
Background in karate and competitive swimming.

Usually works the mid to upper card.

ATSUSHI KOTOGE
"Revolutionary Cloak Hero"

DATE OF BIRTH: 18th October 1985
PLACE OF BIRTH: Kaizuka City, Osaka
SPORTS BACKGROUND: Soccer
CATEGORY: Heavyweight
FAVORITE FOOD & DRINK: Spinach
FINISHERS & SPECIAL MOVES: Kill Switch, Revolutionary Cloak Splash

Arrived in Noah in May 2012 from Osaka Pro. During his high school days he played soccer, he had never had any fighting sports experience when he went to a training session run by the Osaka Wrestling promotion and caught the bug.

Mid carder, although has been known to main event in the past. Alter-ego is "Mr. Koto", a man who wears a fake black curly wig and dresses like Leisure Suit Larry and dances (usually at New Year). However, Atsushi Kotoge is best known for being Noah's perpetually upbeat, hyperactive (and increasingly insane) self proclaimed "Revolutionary Cloak Hero", who is a "hero to First Graders".

Problem is, no one has any idea really of what this "Revolution is", and it is said that not even Kotoge himself knows.

DAISUKE HARADA
"Young Master"
(Also known as "Boss")

DATE OF BIRTH: 13th November 1986
PLACE OF BIRTH: Osaka, Japan
UNIT: Ratels
CATEGORY: Junior heavyweight
FAVORITE FOOD & DRINK: Special croquettes that are made in a shop in front of Suita Station, Ice cream, milkshakes

FINISHERS & SPECIAL MOVES: Katayama German Suplex, Diving Elbow drop

Originally from Osaka Pro, Daisuke Harada signed with Noah in May 2013. Became interested in wrestling by playing Toukon Ratsuden (a computer game), and attending the 1998 Power Hall show at the Tokyo Dome (he would compete in the show twenty years later in 2018).
Background in High School amateur wrestling.

Usually works on the upper mid card, has main evented smaller shows before (usually in his hometown of Osaka). Solid strong worker and very talented wrestler who is known for putting on stellar matches and has rarely had a bad one. Has shown the ability to do both strong style wrestling and some high flying maneuvers. He says his "final goal" is the GHC Heavyweight title.

GO SHIOZAKI
"Strong Man"

DATE OF BIRTH: January 21st 1982
PLACE OF BIRTH: Kumamoto City, Kumamoto
UNIT: AXIZ
SPORTS BACKGROUND: Basketball
CATEGORY: Heavyweight
FAVORITE FOOD & DRINK: Meat

FINISHERS & SPECIAL MOVES: Go Flasher, lariat, machine gun chops

Noah born.
Originally he wanted to be a policeman like his father (but did not pass the exams). He was inspired to become a professional wrestler after hearing Mitsuharu Misawa on television say "anyone can be a professional wrestler if he is brave enough". He passed the physical exam at the Noah dojo, and later became dorm leader. Graduated from the Noah dojo in 2003, (the only person in his class to do so and at that time the youngest on the roster), and stayed with the company until 2013 when he walked out in protest over the firing of his teacher, Kenta Kobashi. Returned in May 2016. Chairman of Noah's Wrestlers Association.

Upper carder and main eventer. Has picked up (probably subconsciously and consciously) a lot of the mannerisms of his teacher, Kenta Kobashi and like Kobashi seems to be suffering problems with nerve damage in his elbows due to the rapid motion of the machine gun chops (at times he appears to show symptoms of numbness in his hands) and the elbows are always either heavily bandaged or with athletic supports. As one of the seniors of Noah, he usually takes on a mentoring role to the younger heavyweights or juniors moving up into the heavyweight division.

HAYATA
"Silent Darkness"

DATE OF BIRTH: August 4th 1987
PLACE OF BIRTH: Kumano, Hiroshima
UNIT: RATELS
SPORTS BACKGROUND: Basketball, amateur wrestling
CATEGORY:Junior Heavyweight
LIKES: Skateboarding
FAVORITE FOOD & DRINK: Takoyaki
FINISHERS & SPECIAL MOVES: Headache, Moonsault

MISC: Comment is always "Same!"

Part of the RATELS group with Daisuke Harada and Tadasuke (YO-HEY turned on the others in early 2019 and joined Yoshinari Ogawa & Kotaro Suzuki in "Stinger"). Referred to by YO-HEY as "the wife" or "the bride" (as he doesn't let YO-HEY shake hands with anyone, and they are a pair who usually go everywhere together). Says nothing unless prodded into it by someone, and even then says either "same" or three or four other words in a short sentence (which is very rare though). He enjoys being "mysterious", wears one trouser leg shorter than the other as it is something different, and does his talking in the ring where he seems to get a cold sadistic delight out of hurting his opponents.

HAJIME OHARA
"Mui Bien"

DATE OF BIRTH: July 24th 1984
PLACE OF BIRTH: Kawasaki City, Japan
UNIT: Backbreakers
CATEGORY: Junior Heavyweight
FAVORITE FOOD & DRINK: French toast

FINISHERS & SPECIAL MOVES: Mui Bien, Finnish Forearm

Signed with Noah in 2013 following work for promotions such as Zero-1, Smash and Wrestling New Classic. Has also done MMA in the past (last done in 2010).
Qualified chef and volunteer fireman, is also studying currently physiotherapy. He is known as "Noah's Treasure" for his tireless work for the people of Kawasaki (he's on several city boards), and for opening the doors of a new venue there for them in the summer of 2018, which looks to now be a regular thing.

Lower to mid carder. Very good people person, especially with children and the elderly. Part of "The Backbreakers" tag-team with Hitoshi Kumano, who held the belts briefly in 2019. Very good technical wrestler. Until January 2018 had never missed time with injury in thirteen years, when he missed a few days with bruised kidneys.

HI69
"Trance Rave"

DATE OF BIRTH: December 13th 1981
PLACE OF BIRTH: Morioka City, Iwate
SPORTS BACKGROUND: Baseball
CATEGORY: Junior Heavyweight
LIKES: Drinking into a stupor
FAVORITE FOOD & DRINK: Grilled meat

FINISHERS & SPECIAL MOVES: Stuka Splash, Michinoku Driver β, Trance Rave

Worked extensively on the Japanese indies, a severe back injury gained in Apache Army in 2007 caused two years of rehabilitation and a hiatus from wrestling. He signed with Noah in late 2014.

Very agile for a man of his size and poor knees ("they have been bad for eighteen years"), and tends to team with Minoru Tanaka and is allied with Seiya Morohashi and loosely also Junta Miyawaki. Used his hardcore background in a match with Daisuke Harada in 2018.
Will celebrate twenty years in wrestling in 2020.

HITOSHI KUMANO
"Growing Bear"

DATE OF BIRTH: November 22nd 1991
PLACE OF BIRTH: Hiroshima, Japan
UNIT: Backbreakers
SPORTS BACKGROUND: Amateur wrestling
CATEGORY: Junior heavyweight

FINISHERS & SPECIAL MOVES: Argentina Backbreaker, Bear Bottom

Noah born.
Inspired to become a wrestler after playing "King of Collseum 2" on the PS2. Entered Noah's dojo in 2012 and debuted for the promotion in February 2013.
Qualified sports trainer, also attended business school while training.

Stocky build at 5'7, and very strong, was able to hold his own against heavyweights, although he is often defeated by them, and will no doubt become a heavyweight in the future. Held his first belt (junior tag belt in 2019), and states he will again aim for the singles.

JUNTA MIYAWAKI
"Orange Riot"

DATE OF BIRTH: June 14th 1997
PLACE OF BIRTH: Takamatsu, Kawgawa
SPORTS BACKGROUND: Judo
CATEGORY: Junior heavyweight
LIKES: Eating
FAVORITE FOOD & DRINK: Anything

FINISHERS & SPECIAL MOVES: Drop kick

Noah born.
Entered the Noah dojo in April 2016, debuted on 12th August 2017.

Lower card. Well past his one year debut, Miyawaki is yet to get his first win, but was granted his own entrance theme four months after his debut in December 2017. Each day improving in leaps and bounds and starting to develop his own techniques. Still very young at only 21, Miyawaki will no doubt play an important part in the company in years to come.

KAZMA SAKAMOTO
DATE OF BIRTH: October 1st 1982
PLACE OF BIRTH: Machida, Tokyo
CATEGORY: Heavyweight (freelancer)
FINISHERS & SPECIAL MOVES: Michinoku Driver II

Has been appearing on the Noah roster since about 2016/2017, usually teaming with Cody Hall, and later joined the renegade heel faction "The Hooligans" (who were forced to disband in 2019). In an effort to make Takashi Sugiura realize that as a freelancer, you sometimes make bad choices and team with people you wouldn't normally and you know are morally reprehensible, KAZMA will join with him for Global Tag League.

KAITO KIYOMIYA
"Successor to the Green"

DATE OF BIRTH: July 17th 1996
PLACE OF BIRTH: Saitama, Saitama Prefecture
SPORTS BACKGROUND: Soccer
CATEGORY: Heavyweight
LIKES: Jazz
FAVORITE FOOD & DRINK: Tomato and watermelon

FINISHERS & SPECIAL MOVES: Tiger Suplex, Chicken-wing crossface, dropkick

Noah born.
Entered the Noah dojo in 2015, made his debut in December 9 2015 against Hitoshi Kumano. Inspired to become a wrestler by Mitsuharu Misawa, who he saw on television as a child.

Upper card and maineventer. Known as "the future of Noah" among fans.
At only twenty-two years old he has broken multiple records, being the youngest person to be in Global League, the youngest person to win both Global Tag League and Global League, the shortest time from debut to holding the GHC Heavyweight title, and the youngest person to be GHC Heavyweight champion. He has an ongoing rivalry with Kenoh, which he freely admits, that although their goal is the same (to completely change the scenery in Noah and bring Noah back to the Budokan, albeit in politer language than Kenoh), they will remain rivals, no matter how many times they tag together.

KATSUHIKO NAKAJIMA
"Genius of The Kick"

DATE OF BIRTH: March 11th 1988
PLACE OF BIRTH: Fukuoka, Fukuoka, Japan
SPORTS BACKGROUND: Karate
CATEGORY: Heavyweight
LIKES: Kicking people, smirking, being smug and sarcastic
FINISHERS & SPECIAL MOVES: High kick, vertical spike

Signed with Noah in January 2016. Very well known to the promotion beforehand having worked in Kensuke Office\Diamond Ring (and half having grown up in Noah), and also with experience in New Japan, All Japan and several other Japanese promotions.

Mid to upper card. A very good GHC Junior or GHC Heavyweight tag champion, Nakajima did not make a convincing GHC Heavyweight champion at the time which was a difficult period in Noah's history and he also hadn't developed his current evil personality.

Known for very stiff gunshot sounding kicks, an evil smile, sinister body language and an ever present smirk.

KENOH
DATE OF BIRTH: January 1st 1985
PLACE OF BIRTH: Tokushima City, Tokushima, Shikoku
SPORTS BACKGROUND: Nippon Kempo
CATEGORY: Heavyweight
LIKES: Snorkelling
FAVORITE FOOD & DRINK: Orion beer from Okinawa

FINISHERS & SPECIAL MOVES: Diving foot stomp from the top turnbuckle, ankle lock

Studied Nippon Kempo (a Japanese form of martial arts) since the traditional age of three years old. He signed with Michinoku Pro in 2007. Entered Noah as a freelancer in 2014, and was signed to the promotion in March 2015.
Qualified and licensed social studies teacher.

Upper card. Despite the foul mouth, despite the constant petulant scowl, and despite referring to his fans\the audience as "you bastards", Kenoh is a big part of Noah's future. A rivalry has developed with Kaito Kiyomiya, which will endure for years to come, it is in its infancy now, but has already generated a lot of interest which will be the Ace in Noah's deck. Kenoh has promised to bring Noah back to the Budokan, and although the road will be long, there is no doubt that in the end he will no doubt do it.

KINYA OKADA
DATE OF BIRTH: November 17th 1992
PLACE OF BIRTH: Osaka, Osaka
SPORTS BACKGROUND: Taekwondo, amateur wrestling
CATEGORY: Heavyweight

Kinya Okada entered the Noah dojo in August 2017, but due to unspecified injury, he did not debut until December 2018. Only three months into his career he has shown promise of developing into one of the nastier heavyweights with his sarcastic attitude, which he is not scared to show to his seniors.

KOTARO SUZUKI
DATE OF BIRTH: June 18th 1978
PLACE OF BIRTH: Warabi, Saitama
SPORTS BACKGROUND: Table tennis, judo, amateur wrestling
CATEGORY: Junior heavyweight
LIKES: Gundam Wing (most of his moves are named after it)

FINISHERS & SPECIAL MOVES: Tiger Driver, Endless Waltz, Blue Destiny, Excalibur

Noah born.
Kaito Kiyomiya, Go Shiozaki and Naomichi Marufuji are not the only people to have been inspired to become a wrestler by Mitsuharu Misawa; Kotaro Suzuki, a fact a little less well known than the others (and sometimes mistaken for being Kenta Kobashi's pupil and not Misawa's), was the same as them.
His first encounter with professional wrestling came from playing "Fire Pro", where his favorite character was indeed Misawa (who a character in the game was modeled after), later he saw the real Misawa on TV, and afterwards made up his mind to become a wrestler.
He entered Noah in March 2001. Out of 200 applicants, only a select few entered the dojo, and out of that number he was the only one in his class (four) who could cope with the grueling dojo life and debuted in December 2001 in a tag match. It was Misawa who gave him the name "Kotaro" (which stuck in Noah and everyone calls him it), as he wished him to "be strong like when a drum is struck, and deeply resounding".

Noah took the unpopular decision to terminate the contract of Kenta Kobashi in 2012, and he walked out with Kobashi, Jun Akiyama, Atsushi Aoki and Go Shiozaki in protest. Afterwards he worked as a freelancer. He didn't return to Noah until after Naomichi Marufuji's 20th anniversary, "Flight" in September 2018, and then immediately set about causing his usual trouble among the juniors; such as infamously breaking up RATELS, and telling them all that they were saps compared to the era he came from. He also won Junior League 2018.

MASA KITAMIYA
"Go for Broke"

DATE OF BIRTH: October 27th 1998
PLACE OF BIRTH: Tonami, Toyama, Japan
SPORTS BACKGROUND: Rugby, High School and college amateur wrestling
CATEGORY: Heavyweight
FAVORITE FOOD & DRINK: Steak & Beer

FINISHERS & SPECIAL MOVES: Side suplex, Spear, Prison lock

Joined Noah officially in April 2016, following the closure of Diamond Ring (Kensuke Office). Had been competing in Noah since 2012. Upper mid card to upper card. One of Noah's powerhouses, very strong (and said to have inherited the spirit of his mentor, Masa Saito). Good heavyweight tag team wrestler, but not quite ready for the GHC Heavyweight, although he has challenged for it in both 2018 and 2019.
Trainer in Noah's dojo, he takes pride in working with the trainees, Kinya Okada and Yoshiki Inamura.

MASAO INOUE
DATE OF BIRTH: March 6th 1970
PLACE OF BIRTH: Chūō, Yamanashi Prefecture
SPORTS BACKGROUND: Hand Ball
CATEGORY: Heavyweight
LIKES: Lotto 7, Bingo, Bowling
FAVORITE FOOD & DRINK: Monjayaki
FINISHERS & SPECIAL MOVES: Million Dollar Buster, Blockbuster, Lariat, eye rake, Argentine backbreaker

Veteran, known for playing the bumbling old vet in comedy matches. He has been a part of Noah since 2000 when he walked out with Mitsuharu Misawa. Works as a freelancer, mainly appearing in Noah (where he is teased by Takashi Sugiura as being "a weird old man", and usually is the subject of the "urinal pictures").

Lower card. Comedy wrestling is not everybody's thing, but Inoue is beloved for it. He can always be guaranteed to raise laughter with his clownish antics (like his wind up arm which his opponents get bored of, or his slipping from the turnbuckle and missing his opponent or when he goes for a jump and can't do it). In matches when he doesn't do comedy he is a good worker and seems happy to work the opening matches despite his age and status.

MAYBACH TANIGUCHI
"Break Out"

DATE OF BIRTH: 18th October 1976
PLACE OF BIRTH: Kurayoshi, Tottori
SPORTS BACKGROUND: Amateur wrestling, Judo
CATEGORY: Heavyweight
FAVORITE FOOD & DRINK: Sushi

FINISHERS & SPECIAL MOVES: Zwei bomb, Maybach bomb

Noah born.
Joined the dojo in May 2005 and debuted that December. Like Takashi Sugiura he was also a member of the Japan Self-Defense Forces where he represented them in the wrestling team and became highly decorated.

Mid card. Good brawler, not overly technical in motion and relies a lot on size and strength (and his beloved Sasumata, which he used to carry around during his days in the "Super Violent Army"), however he is a good solid wrestler and can always be relied upon to deliver, even if his current persona is as a taciturn monster who speaks in grunts.

MINORU TANAKA
"The Special One"

DATE OF BIRTH: November 29th 1972
PLACE OF BIRTH: Komaki, Aichi
SPORTS BACKGROUND: Shootboxing
CATEGORY: Junior heavyweight

FINISHERS & SPECIAL MOVES: Minoru Special, Fireball Splash, Heat Clutch

Regular feature in Noah, you would not think that he is approaching fifty as he has a body if a twenty-two year old. Normally works the mid card, but can sometimes appear in the opener. Very technical wrestler with a good lucha component added. With his acquisition of the GHC Junior Heavyweight title in the year of his 25th debut anniversary, he has now held all the Junior titles in almost every promotion in Japan, including FMW.

MITSUYA NAGAI
DATE OF BIRTH: November 10th 1968
PLACE OF BIRTH: Sunagawa, Hokkaido
SPORTS BACKGROUND: Kickboxing, MMA
CATEGORY: Heavyweight

FINISHERS & SPECIAL MOVES: Hyper knee, Stretch plum, Nagai Lock

Usually to be found on the mid card, he is the closest thing that Noah has to heel in a promotion that has never been overly gimmicky with a strong division between good and bad wrestlers. Nagai says he likes to be booed, and reinforces this by getting into arguments with the crowd (favorite phrase is "shut up, you old bag"). However, this vision of Nagai is currently undergoing a change as he seems to have attracted the attention of Atsushi Kotoge, who is determined to rehabilitate him from his evil ways. Given a "cloak" (which Nagai dismissed as being something that robbers use to hide their faces), Kotoge has set out to reform the man Naomichi Marufuji once called the "bald Octopus".

MOHAMMED YONE
"Mr. Afro"

PLACE OF BIRTH: Nagoya, Aichi
UNIT: 50 Funky Powers
SPORTS BACKGROUND: Volleyball
CATEGORY: Heavyweight
LIKES: Grilling meat, telling stories when drunk, skimming the scum off of pots
FAVORITE FOOD & DRINK: Kamkam Lemon (Candy)

FINISHERS & SPECIAL MOVES: Funky Buster Bomb, Kinmeat Buster

Joined Noah in 2000 when he walked out with Mitsuharu Misawa from All Japan; prior to this he had been a freelancer working for Big Japan, FMW, WAR and Michinoku Pro.

Mid to upper card. Flamboyant wrestler, although it has been said that he has not really progressed much in his technique over the years and is still very much punch and kick, but it doesn't matter, if there are complaints about his style then there are certainly none about his ring presence. Very charismatic, extremely strong (he has lifted heavyweights like Maybach Taniguchi into a package on his shoulders and carried them across the ring). He describes himself at forty-three as "a middle aged man with an afro"; Yone, with his love of disco, occupies a soft spot in many fans hearts (if not his opponents, some of whom don't seem to appreciate his "Disco Fever" pose, although his bunny, Mimi, may prove a more popular choice).

NAOMICHI MARUFUJI
"Genius of The Ark"

DATE OF BIRTH: September 26th 1979
PLACE OF BIRTH: Kounosu, Saitama, Japan
SPORTS BACKGROUND: High school wrestling, Basketball
CATEGORY: Heavyweight
FAVORITE FOOD & DRINK: Shiranui Curry

FINISHERS & SPECIAL MOVES: Shiranui, Perfect Key Lock

Entered the All Japan dojo in 1997, walked out with Mitsuharu Misawa in 2000. Has remained with the promotion ever since, although he has made appearances for other companies (sometimes holding championships of theirs). Vice president of Noah.

Upper card. In 2019 and following an injury, Marufuji has once again changed his style, and is now concentrating more on being the grizzled vet who does ground attacks (in yesteryear he loved being a lucha, and every now again he can pull a move out) now that his body is "older than I thought". Aside from title matches, and a GHC Heavyweight tag title reign which had to be vacated due to injury, he has taken a quieter role on the card to allow the younger heavyweights to flourish with the support of himself and the other seniors.

QUIET STORM

DATE OF BIRTH: November 20th 1983
PLACE OF BIRTH: Brooklyn, New York, USA
UNIT: 50 Funky Powers
CATEGORY: Heavyweight

FINISHERS & SPECIAL MOVES: 50 CM arm lariat, Funky Buster Bomb (in tandem with Mohammed Yone)

Made his debut in his home town of New York in September 1998. Worked in K-DOJO and Osaka Pro. Signed with Noah in 2014. Speaks Japanese fluently and with an excellent accent (had you not known when you heard him on commentary, you would have thought he was native), intensely loyal to Noah which he says he wants to make the number one promotion in the world.

Mid to upper card. Power house wrestler, not overly technical perhaps, but very strong ground attack. Known for his 50cm arms. Very popular with fans.

SEIYA MOROHASHI
DATE OF BIRTH: August 24th 1977
PLACE OF BIRTH: Nagareyama, Chiba
CATEGORY: Junior Heavyweight

FINISHERS & SPECIAL MOVES: Kuraru bomber, Kuraru driver

Freelancer.
Once part of the "Special 4 stable" with Yoshinari Ogawa, Minoru Tanaka and Hi69, he seems to have stayed loyal since their disbandment to Tanaka and Hi69, and to a certain degree to Junta Miyawaki also, who for a period of time he took under his wing and teamed with during Global Junior Tag League 2018 when LEONA (his original partner) became injured.

TADASUKE
"The Outcast"

DATE OF BIRTH: January 13th 1986
PLACE OF BIRTH: Kyoto, Japan
UNIT: RATELS
SPORTS BACKGROUND: Judo, soccer
CATEGORY: Junior heavyweight

FINISHERS & SPECIAL MOVES: Outcast

Signed with Noah in September 2017, following work overseas in Texas, and at home in Japan such as Apache Pro, Big Japan and Osaka-Pro.

Mid card. Tadasuke has the ability to play the smarmy sneaky villain to the hilt without losing fans, (who love him for his at times manic ways such as when he said he would win Global Junior League by poisoning the finalists), he always manages to give the impression that he has his own secret agenda, and is just biding his time...

TAKASHI SUGIURA
"Killing Machine"

DATE OF BIRTH: May 31st 1970
PLACE OF BIRTH: Nagoya, Aichi
SPORTS BACKGROUND: Judo, amateur wrestling, dabbled in MMA
CATEGORY: Heavyweight
LIKES: R&B

FINISHERS & SPECIAL MOVES: Olympic Slam, Ankle Lock

Part of the All Japan walkout with Mitsuharu Misawa, Sugiura made his debut in December 2000.
Qualified self-defense instructor, and like Maybach Taniguchi, was a member of the Japan Self-Defense Forces.

Upper card. One of the oldest members of the roster (there are only about three left from the All Japan dojo in Noah now), Sugiura is much respected in Noah and much loved by its fans who have nicknamed him "Sugi" (and whom also believe that he has an endoskeleton); reporters and interviewers might be a different matter as they tend to be told that either they are bald, or that they are fools.
Outside of the ring, Sugiura maintains a position on the Noah board of directors, a seat on the Noah Wrestlers Association and is known for his sense of humor (even if this does involve photographing Masao Inoue at the urinal); as he tells people who do not know who he is and comment on his awesome physique, that he is a porn star.

YO-HEY
"The Flying Playboy"

DATE OF BIRTH: February 6th 1988
PLACE OF BIRTH: Yabu, Hyogo, Japan
UNIT: STINGER
SPORTS BACKGROUND:  Judo, Baseball, Soccer and Shorinji Kempo (a form of Japanese shaolin Kung-Fu).
CATEGORY: Junior Heavyweight
LIKES: Sleeping while listening to scary stories (says he does it seven days a week)
FAVORITE FOOD & DRINK: Zaru Soba (Cold Soba Noodles)
FINISHERS & SPECIAL MOVES: Bamboo Dragonfly, Gamen G, Super Facial G, dropkick

Joined Noah as a full time member in September 2016. Originally worked for Dragongate from 2008-2009 when an ill judged action (he made a fake blog and claimed the animals, specifically the monkey at the dojo was being abused, which in reality they weren't), which caused him to take a hiatus for a year from wrestling. He returned in 2011 and worked for Smash, Wrestling New Classic, All Japan, Doutonbori Pro Wrestling and Dove Pro.

Mid card. A more successful tag wrestler than he is a singles wrestler, YO-HEY turned on RATELS and joined with Yoshinari Ogawa and Kotaro Suzuki in early 2019. Known for his brightly dyed hair and loud and colorful style, use of the word "peron" (which has no English equivalent), and amazing aerial attacks, he says "he demonstrates an individual personality"

YOSHIKI INAMURA
DATE OF BIRTH: November 18th 1992
PLACE OF BIRTH: Otawara, Tochigi, Japan
SPORTS BACKGROUND: Judo, sumo, high school wrestling
CATEGORY: Heavyweight
LIKES: Beat Takeshi's TV Tackle, Reptiles
FAVORITE FOOD AND DRINK:Fried Rice

FINISHERS & SPECIAL MOVES: Tackle

Yoshiki Inamura made his debut in Noah in August 2018, stating his hero is Takashi Sugiura, whom he wants to have a presence like. Maybe not as personable as Okada, (whom he has two victories over and calls "my rival"), he nevertheless shows great promise and will be a valuable addition to the heavyweight roster for years to come.
His biggest moments so far in such a young career is fighting like a demon against The Hooligans to end their reign in a team consisting of veterans (Takashi Sugiura, Masao Inoue and Akitoshi Saito) and his fellow rookie, Kinya Okada.

YOSHINARI OGAWA
"The Solitary Technician"

DATE OF BIRTH: November 2nd 1966
PLACE OF BIRTH: Toride, Ibaraki, Japan
UNIT: Stinger
SPORTS BACKGROUND: Baseball
CATEGORY: Junior Heavyweight

FINISHERS & SPECIAL MOVES: Many nasty submission holds (Ogawa has an internal scanner which means he knows where a vulnerable point on somewhere is, even if you don't know)

Veteran.
Debuted in All Japan in 1985 (according to Naomichi Marufuji, he had been at the All Japan dojo since his late teens, at about eighteen or nineteen or so). Walked out with Mitsuharu Misawa in 2000 and has been with the company ever since.

Lower to mid carder. Highly respected in the locker room, highly respected in the ring (he knows many nasty submission moves and can always be counted on to play dirty, hence his fan nickname of "Rat Boy"), he seems to have had no problems in working the opening matches with the younger wrestlers for years, many of whom he has helped to bring up to where they are now. At the moment the two rookies are in the heavyweight division, so he has not had much contact with them, plus Junta Miyawaki starting to fly the nest a little, which has led to a title run now that he has the time for himself.
